100% sealed!
I researched many food sealers, name brands and settled on this one. This is an awesome compact vacuum sealer. First try it didnt seal 100%. But realized it was user error. Did salmon portions but put it at the bottom of the bag. Which doesn't allow all the air to come out. Rearranged them to the middle and did the vacuum seal again and it sealed 100%. This is a very nice convenient and compact vacuum sealer.

I really bought this for sealing and storing 3d printing filament. I've tried using food savers and other lower costs vacuum solutions. This one seems legit for helping store 3d filament. Some of the key differences between this solution and the lower cost filament vacuum solution is that the bags and pump are way better. The digital readout is a nice feature. The bags valves are robust compared to lower cost solution. You can use this pump with the lower cost bags as it does work but I plan to phase those out over time. I like the concept of reusable bags vs the food saver solution. Battery life is great! The seal is good, just make sure to seal the bag properly. I use a clip that slides across the seam to ensure a good seal. No complaints on the speed.

Easy to use; works good. The storage bags are heavy and can be reused. The sealer device is about the size of a small flashlight. The box comes with 15 small and 15 large storage bags. A bag can be sealed in about 10-15 seconds, probably a lot less time than it takes to get a regular storage bag sealed that still won't be air-tight. With the cost of food these days, the sealer will pay for itself in no time.
