Enameled pie/cake pan is great for home baking.
I ordered this Enamel Round Baking Pan Roasting Dish 10 Inch Non-Stick Cookware with an eye towards the upcoming holiday season; I always bake a lot of pies for Thanksgiving and Christmas, and the enameled pan is just what I’ve been looking for.This deep (just under 2”) pan is great for baking pies or cake layers for special occasions; it’s also useful for regular day to day cooking, and I’ve found it wonderful for making rosti.My husband spent part of his childhood in school in Switzerland; rosti has always been a comfort food for him, and I’ve experimented a lot over the years trying to get the right crispy texture. The enameled pan is great for finishing rosti in the oven; it also works well for a different version I’ve been longing to try, an entirely baked version of rosti that’s great for meals where I’m too busy with other dishes to tend to rosti on the stove top. I gave this just the slightest grease on the enameled pan, and the rosti bakes beautifully in this pie pan; one quick flip to finish off the reverse side.This pan is made from porcelain coated steel with an enamel finish; the outside is a cream color, and the inside is a deep grey. One of the sales photos shows a cutaway of the six layers in the pan, including carbon steel, ground coat, and both cream and grey colored cover coats. The enamel is smooth without any bumps or cracks.The pan I received measures about 11” wide when measured from the outside of the pan; it’s about 10 1/4” when measured on the inside. It’s just under 2” tall. My recipes for 10” pies and cakes bake beautifully in this pan, and I’ve done just fine with 9” recipes, too, though I checked them often.The sales page says this BPA free pan is dishwasher safe; I’ve also washed it by hand, since the top shelf of our tiny dishwasher doesn’t always have available real estate, and I found it quick and easy to clean either way.I like the simple cream enamel design; it looks so great next to a cream, textured 9” deep dish pie pan I already owned that you’d almost think they were from the same collection. This looks great for serving at the table or from a buffet; we have a bit of a cottage core or Victorian/ Edwardian vibe in our dinnerware, but the clean lines and vanilla enamel will coordinate well with a wide range of styles.The pie pan came with a light blue silicone basting brush, excellent for greasing the pan with butter or oil. There was also a note from the seller; it included a thank you, and instructions for using the pan. The thank you note was thoughtful and the trifold instruction sheet easy to read. The pan, brush, and note arrived in a branded cardboard box, suitable for gifting.At the current price ($45.99) this pan is pricier than a basic metal pie pan; it’s also multi layered and enameled. The pan is sturdy, well made, attractive, and should last a long time if properly cared for; it has the quality of famous brand and boutique pans I’ve seen at our neighborhood baking and housewares store. It also shares a price point with these boutique pie pans, as well as an upscale aesthetic. I was very pleased with the opportunity to review this from Vine; this would probably be a bit outside my family’s usual budget, but I deeply appreciate being able to bake and cook with a pan of this quality.This could make a nice wedding gift or housewarming/apartment warming present, great for serious bakers as well as beginning cooks. This pan works beautifully for my homemade pies and cakes, it maintains heat evenly, and I’ve found unfolding cake layers very easy, without any sticky bits. It’s also useful for all kinds of baking, including good old casseroles for dinner. A nice addition to our kitchen, just in time for the coming holiday baking season.

Nice Pan. Needs more Color Options
This cake pan made me irrationally happy and I did not see that coming. Sometimes a baking dish is just a baking dish, and sometimes it quietly changes your entire attitude toward baking. This one falls firmly into the second category.The first thing I noticed was how solid it feels. Not flimsy, not warped, not the kind of pan that makes you nervous the moment you pick it up. It has a nice weight to it that immediately inspires confidence, like it actually wants to help you succeed instead of sabotaging your dessert dreams. The round shape is perfectly even and the sides feel sturdy and well made.Performance wise, it does exactly what you hope a cake pan will do and then some. Cakes bake evenly with no mysterious hot spots and no dramatic doming in the center. Everything releases cleanly, which feels like a small miracle if you have ever had to negotiate with a cake to come out of a pan in one piece. Cleanup is easy and nothing clings stubbornly to the surface.I also appreciate how versatile it is. This is not a one use pan that lives in the back of the cabinet. Good pan, good size
I’m not much of a baker. So far, I’ve been using this pan to heat food in my oven. The pan is not as heavy as I expected. The first time I used it, I didn’t spray it with the cooking spray. The food got stuck on it a bit, but not too badly. The next time, I used the cooking spray and it was fine.What I like about this pan the most is the size, 10” round. It’s a really good size and suits my needs well.One thing I notice about baking pans whatever shape and size. Usually, there’s a measurement or size of the pan written or engraved at the bottom of the pan (on the outside). This pan has no such thing on it. It would have been a nice information to include.

Great non-stick enamel baking pan in a lovely shade of blue, works well and makes a great gift
First of all the presentation of this pan as delivered is so aesthetically pleasing you feel like you are getting a gift so it would certainly be fantastic to give to someone as a present. Especially if you are sending it directly without the opportunity to wrap it.Secondly it is just an all around great baking pan. The enamel is surface is non-stick, the pan is just under 2" deep, 10" wide, it is very sturdy but not too heavy. Bakes evenly and I appreciate that there is no teflon while being a non-stick easy release pan. The blue color is a nice touch and it comes with a silicone basting brush which is handy. I also love that is larger than the standard 8-9" baking pans.Definitely recommend!
