Expandable drawer organizer fits perfectly in my kitchen drawer and looks to be a quality item. I didn’t use the inserts, so I can’t speak to their efficacy. I would’ve ordered more if they came in larger sizes to fit my other drawers.
We’ve moved recently, and have a bigger kitchen, which I hoped to keep better organized than when I had a small one with things stuffed in it, but even though this is a fairly recent kitchen remodel, none of the drawers have enough clearance above and next to the drawer to close with this on top, which is where I most wanted to use it as pictured in the listing. I also tried it on some drawers in furniture of different types in different rooms and the drawers wouldn’t close on anything with this sitting on the drawer the way it is in the pictures. Currently, I have it sitting inside the drawer in my bedside table, where it is keeping some things somewhat more organized, but that drawer isn’t usually very disorganized, so I haven’t given up hope to find use for it closer to the way it was intended to be used. I appreciate that it adjusts to fit the full width of the inside of drawers. I will be setting up my craft room soon and I will probably try it in there because my craft drawers are always a challenge to keep organized. Even as just an organizer in a shallow drawer in that room it would be a help, but there are lower priced organizers for the inside of shallow drawers, so if it doesn’t fit on top of a deep drawer while allowing it to still close, then I wouldn’t choose it again.
I was excited to use this in my remodeled kitchen --- but it doesn't work on inset cabinets (my mistake). Tried it in a deep bathroom drawer. Drawer closes fine, but the organizer itself is very shallow and dosen't hold much. The dividers are held in place with a very small slot, so they slip out very easily when you're moving drawer contents. I'm going to try it in another drawer to see if it will work better for make-up or hair clips.
This organizer made better use of a deep drawer and works perfectly. Sliding back and forth to get the items I need at the bottom of the drawer

I ordered this expandable drawer organizer to use in the bedroom nightstand. It is made of white plastic and extends out from about a foot to 18 inches in width. The part that extends out is one entire compartment. The other half has two fixed locations where you can insert dividers. The channels that the dividers slip into are only on the bottom portion of the sides. I wish the channels went all the way up to the top to make the dividers more secure. The organizer hangs on top of the sides of the drawer. It easily slides back to get it out of your way when you need to access items that are stored below it. The clearance needed to perform this action limits the amount of space you have in the bottom of the drawer by a couple of inches. Installation was a piece of cake. I just expanded it to the size of my drawer, and I was done. I have been using this organizer for the last couple of weeks. It is very handy for finding things in the dark when you’re half asleep. It has performed well during this time.
The concept is what I wanted to draw it organizer that I could use either in my bedroom side table, office desk, drawer, or in my kitchen utensil drawer. But it didn’t work for my bedroom and it didn’t work for my office. The problem is whatever drawer you use it in. You can’t really have much underneath it so if you’re gonna do that, why don’t you just get one that sits directly in the drawer.
