Soo cute and perfect use for espresso shots
These little cups are something I ordered for their pour lips and the wooden handles to coordinate with a tamping box I already had.My espresso machine will fill one of these up to the very top when I make a double shot. Sometimes it’ll overflow. I make a game out of it: if it doesn’t overflow I make a wish.Filling right to the brim when I make a double shot of espresso is kind of fun, but there’s also the gamble of spilling some when I pick it up to pour it into a coffee cup. I know next to nothing about my espresso machine so this could be entirely a user error issue rather than a design flaw in these cups.I don’t feel like removing the wood handles so the cups could go in the dishwasher but the cups hold up to handwashing just fine.I will note a quality issue that doesn’t really show up in photos: the printing was a lighter color on one of the cups. It’s still legible but they’re not truly an identical set of cups because of that.
This to small it’s more for decorating it’s just not practical to small for real use
I’m now what I’d consider to be an espresso-phile and I love all things espresso…these shot cups are just what I’ve been missing in my gear, being 4oz/120ml volume. I have several other measuring cups of this style; however I’d only been able to find 2-3oz max up to this point. I also love the pink shade and wood handle combo. Of general note, the little stainless steel tab underneath the wood handle is a screw that connects the handle to the stainless steel tab that is soldered onto the actual cup. I can see it being necessary to periodically check the screw to ensure it’s tight and hasn’t loosened up too much, but that isn’t a huge deal for me.The cups feel substantial and not chintzy at all, the handle is also comfortable to hold and maneuver, and the pour spout doesn’t drip (great!). They came in a 2-pack and the price point is fair in my eyes for a set of quality espresso shot cups that can also be used for a variety of other cooking tasks when needing to measure up to 4oz of liquid; they’re also fabulous for ranch dressing/condiments, chocolate sauce, and other dips in individual portions!
Perfect for my Breville machine! i love the pink color and the wooden handle! anytime i pull these out to make my espresso for martinis everyone always compliments me! would recommend if you love pink and something to add to the top of you machine for some color!
I have three of these now and I use them daily to pull shots for my iced coffee. Easy to pour with no mess. Cute enough to leave out on counter.
