This espresso shot glass with a wooden handle is both practical and beautiful. The 120ml capacity and clear measurement markings make it perfect for dialing in shots, and the spout pours cleanly without dripping. The wooden handle feels premium and keeps your hands safe from heat. For the price, the quality and design are excellent a great addition to any barista setup.
Unfortunately the handle has already cracked after only 2 weeks of use. Going to have to be careful to not get any splinters as it is on the underneath of the handle.
I had the smaller, hexagonal, shot glass with the more narrow opening, and with the vertical lines on the inside, but I accidentally dropped, and broke it. I mistakenly ordered this one as a replacement, and at first I considered sending it back because I really liked how the hexagonal one had the lines in the shot glass that helped all the crema channel out.However, after using this one a few times, I've come to enjoy it's design more. The mouth is bigger, so it's easier to line up under your grouphead. The glass is also larger, and feels heavier, which is great because the handle on this guy is much larger than the smaller version. I think they're all 120ml, but this one "feels" bigger.That said, they're both quality items. Neither feels cheap, so you're going to get a good item regardless of which you choose.
I really like the wide opening of this espresso glass, which works well with my low-end espresso machine that vibrates a lot when making espresso. This wider glass stays under the portafilter, unlike smaller ones that tend to move out of place. The glass itself is clear but a bit thin, and it has a sleek look.However, the volume measurements on the side are inaccurate. When I measured 4 ounces, the glass showed notably more, making it unreliable for precise measurements. Despite this, the glass serves my needs well, but I'm deducting a star for the inaccurate measurements.
