So glad we got this
We looked at a number of shelves to use in conjunction with our microwave which is a large one. Many racks we checked weren't large enough or seemed flimsy but the size for this one was right and the little extras like hooks for the ends made this one our choice . It's great, fits well and seems sturdy. I especially appreciate having the extra space created by having 2 shelves and not having to put things directly on the microwave. We are able to put our smaller crock pot on the first shelf above the microwave where it's out of the way but still ready to use easily and since it only takes up half or less of that shelf have room to put other things.Separately I purchased a set of very strong magnetic racks that in the description said they were using on your refrigerator but they're perfect to use with this shelf, make the best use of space and help avoid clutter. We are using them to hold spices and seasonings, some pens to label foods and the remote for our kitchen air conditioner.

Love it!! Perfect for small kitchen!
No missing pieces! Yay! Looks like i received extra hooks according to the sheet. Everything looked really good no dents. There were scratches underneath expansion panels, but no one should care since it will never be seen, just putting that out there. There was another scratch on it, but i dont care right now i just care about tackling this clutter. The parts itself are not labeled; ex, it says to attach part E to part C, but nothing labeled lol. Very easy to assemble, took me maybe 10-15 minutes. Feels very sturdy. Cleaned up my space really well! I chose this one because it had holders and hooks included, for my oven mits and trays for toaster oven. Its perfect I definitely recommend!

Use a Rubber Mallet to Attach the Sections
It's a good, practical shelf for a microwave to keep it off the counter, offering the extra storage space under it and also at the top shelf portion, as shown in the picture here. However, where the upper and lower sections attach by way of a rubber plug design, the sections are very difficult to fully secure together. In my case, I used the butt of my palm to bang down on it repeatedly enough to get it to fully seat. The only other option was to use a rubber mallet, because banging on it with a steel hammer would have damaged it.It was so tight going into place that some of the rubberized material from the plugs was shaved off at the holes. That being said, it makes for an extremely secure and strong connection that prevents any wobbling, but I don't see any way it would really be possible or practical to separate the two sections if for some reason I ever wanted to; but really there should be no reason to want to do that. And if any serious attempt we're made to separate the sections, again it probably can't be done without damaging the unit. So once it's put together, my suggestion is to not plan on ever taking it apart.The other issue is that in order to prevent the microwave from sliding around on the smooth metal surface of the shelf by simply pressing the "OPEN DOOR" button, or even closing the door, I had to place non-slip, rubberized shelf-liner material under the microwave. That works great.Also is where the plastic feet of the unit are made of hard plastic, thus allowing the shelf to easily slide around on any relatively smooth surface, which is true of most counters and tables. So to fix that problem, I simply cut out small squares of the same rubberized, non-slip shelf-liner material and placed them underneath all four legs. That also works great to prevent slippage.Finally is that while the assembly instructions are adequate, they largely rely on diagrams to figure out which pieces fit together where; and there's not much in the way of detailed written instructions. But for anyone reasonably decent at putting together jigsaw puzzles by simply looking at the pieces, then that's basically how you'd be interpreting the assembly instructions. That might be harder for some than others, but it really didn't present a problem for me.The takeaway here is that it would have been nice if some non-slip material was included with the product for both the shelf and the legs, because only after receiving it did I realize I needed to purchase that material separately. And if you don't want to bang the sections together with the butt of your palm, then you'll really need a rubber mallet to mash the sections together, since like a say a steel hammer will probably damage the frame.So, I'm giving the product a 4-star rating because of these rather nuisance detractions that required an added DIY approach. But as far as the usefulness and functionality of the shelf once it's actually assembled, I would offer it a 5-star rating.
