Well made and easy to use.
This is a sturdy pull out shelf. I purchased this sliding shelf because of its depth and the ability to customize the width. I wanted to have a way of getting my pots and pans out of the bottom cabinet in our camper van. I was tired of getting on my hands and knees to get a frying pan out to fry a couple of eggs. I easily reconfigured the attachment method from attachment to the walls to the bottom of the cabinet. The pieces of the frame that are designed to be screwed to the wall were easily removed. I used some scrap wood I already had to lift the shelf enough to clear the cabinet’s lower front frame and replace the metal pieces that would’ve attached to the walls. (They are in the last picture.)The sliders that attach to the shelf are well made and move smoothly. If you want to attache this to the walls make sure you have read the directions for measurements before you purchase this unit. The directions are easy to understand and go into great detail with a few hints and things to be aware of while checking for fitting into your cabinet. I am really impressed with the detail they go into and how well it is written.If it does fit your needs the installation instructions are vey clear and understandable. There is a template that uses a good heavy paper that holds its shape to locate where to drill pilot holes for the frame. The wooden grip attached easily to the front of the shelf and covers the overlapping sliding portion of the frame. It looks and feels solid along with looking good. There is a heavy plastic shelf liner that can be cut to fit. This unit supports all of our heavy pots and pans along with the microwave cookware. The side slides move smoothly and quietly with the cookware loaded onto it. The finish is smooth and polished. I did not notice any sharp edges on the basket part of the shelf while installing it.We are very happy with this purchase!
