I was pleasantly surprised when these came and had a zipper. I bought these for my adult children to fill with household essentials for Christmas and to keep the bag for shopping. I was impressed with the size,zipper and they are even lined inside. I may consider one for myself.

My state just eliminated plastic grocery bags and will only let you buy paper bags at the store now. For years I have tried to exclusive utilize re-useable nylon bags. The biggest problem with them is that they lack structure. Depending on my purchases that can make carrying them unwieldy.This extra large canvas tote solves several issues. For one it does have some structure that provides stability. The size is a tremendous advantage especially if buying large items like cereal. The heavy duty nature of the canvas ensures I will get many years of use out of it.With the zipper, pockets and lining I can see this tote being a good choice to take to the beach or an outdoor concert. I like that versatility and plan to haul this along on my next beach vacation later tis year.
This canvas tote bag is really cute and stylish and will be great for trips. The material is thick and tightly woven and the straps are sewn on all the way to the bottom of the bag. They are an inch and a half wide so they are comfortable on your shoulder. The inside liner will keep your dry clothes dry, or your wet clothes or towel from getting the outside of the bag wet. I really like that it has a zipper, although I had a little bit of trouble getting the zipper started. But after a few tugs, it zipped up fine and has not gotten stuck. All in all, a really nice bag.
A good bag great for groceries and travel.
