Excellent French Press
This is an excellent value for a great French press. The press is very well made and attractive on my counter top. It makes 3 average cups, or two very large cups, of fantastic coffee. The filter system is unique and efficient. The filter is simple to replace and clean. It comes with an extra filter screen, so it literally takes one minute to replace the filter with the clean one and run the other through the dishwasher. The press makes the most pure coffee without sediment of any French press I have owned. I am sold! I plan on ordering another one for my camper van.

My top 6 reasons I love this French Press
Using a glass French press allows you to have a clear view of the brewing process - which I find interesting (the geek in me). This is my first experience with a French press, I'm really liking it. Once I got the hang of things, it works really well. You have to pre-warm it with hot water, but keeps the drink hot while brewing. I like the double screen filter, you get a tiny bit of "sludge", but no grounds. I'm not sure about how durable it will be, seems like regular fragile glass, not the borosilicate glass (but I could be wrong). And the (real!) metal part does get very hot! Realized that the hard way (hadn't had my coffee yet!). All in all, it's a very nice little gadget, perfect size for the two cups I drink at a time (but would hold more), nice looking, simple to use. I will use it gently, and hope it lasts. Very good price, so if it breaks I would get another.
