Better looking and enjoyable than expected

I was not certain if I would enjoy this set due to the gold trim around the edge. I did not like the look much when I first received them. However, my enjoyment of the set grew over time. I like how each piece looks. They have minor differences that, in a way, gives each one a personality of sorts. The color is very nice, a special brightness, with the blue color. The set really does look nice, and for me, better than the picture. Each piece feels strong and has a nice weight. The larger plates can hold more food than I expected. Overall, I enjoy the set very much now. However, I had one issue: less than a few weeks after receiving the set, one of the smaller plates shattered in the microwave while heating popcorn. I use paper plates or other container when heating in the microwave and then transfer it when heated. I do enjoy the set though.

So disappointed, broke before first use.

Was so excited to get these is they very cute, though the color variation is very very apparent between some of the pieces.Wash them by hand and when putting one of the plates in the drying rack, it chipped. It’s a plastic coated wire rack. So I’m guessing this is very poor quality. Photo attached. So disappointed because I already threw all the boxing away and went straight to washing them. On top of that, the colors variation was pretty, but two of the eight bowls received totally didn’t match the others.
