Beautiful and functional

These are so so so beautiful. I love opening my cabinet and seeing these in there! They are super sturdy and thick, but not too heavy. So far, we’ve ran them through the dishwasher several times and they are holding up really well! We’ve also used steak knives on them and no scratches. No staining either. The sizes are great. I initially thought the bowls were a tad small, but after using them for a while, I actually love the size for a better portion for us.

Love this set! We also purchased some “pasta” type bowl/plates which are great for pastas and salads as they have a high lip. These are very durable and I was super impressed with the packaging upon arrival. One plate had a small chip, which the company replaced.I love the dimpling and coloring of these dishes, they are really pretty and interesting on their own, yet they are simple enough to make the food that you plate be the star.

New Style

I decided to try a set of plates with the “new” design… with “sides”. I have been using traditional style plates for years. Here’s where the differences are: 1- I love the look and design of the plates and bowls… very neutral in color and functional. 2- the plates of this set do not “stack” like typical plates, thus they have a wobbly look when stacked…. Sturdy, yes, but they do not stack like flat plates. 3- I love the lip on the plates… that’s what gives them a great look, however I have to lift the plates by the lip to get them out of their stack…. Takes some getting used to. Also, I cannot get my fingers under the plate to lift it off a counter, so I have to slide the plate from the counter top to the counter edge to remove it… learning to be careful of drops and spills. It just requires some “getting used to” a different style.I love the style, quality and price! So reasonable. And I love that this set came without cups or mugs! I have millions already!
