I’m learning how to live with and accommodate the quirks and differences everyone in my household has, and this spoon rest has recently been a big help with that actually. This is a good spoon rest because it looks like a spoon rest which allows other people to identify it as a spoon rest and use it to rest their spoons on it when they’re cooking instead of what they did before which was not getting a small plate out of the cupboard to do the same job but to use the entire stove as a spoon rest (it’s a glasstop so they think that’s fine because glass is so easy to wipe down but that only works if you actually wipe it down afterwards). Thank you for coming to my ted talk rant and I’m sorry for the giant run on paragraph.On a serious note, we have been in need of a spoon rest for a while because of the above described situation. While I huff at the rigidity in my loved ones refusing to creatively reimagine a regular plate as a spoon rest, I’ve also been unnecessarily rigid in my stubborn reluctance to get a specialized gadget. In the end the spoon rest helps the stove stay cleaner and me stay saner so it’s doing a good job.The ashtrayness of having that lip for the handle to help keep everything more level and lower to the counter lest it get catapulted across the kitchen or swiped onto the floor because the handle was already half hanging over the edge.I just grabbed a couple of random utensils to try them out for the pictures, and they all fit. The ridges help contain drips and it went through the dishwasher fine, but afterwards I’ve just hand washed it because that’s how I like to wash colorful glazed things to preserve their lifespan.
This is perfect and adorable! I have been using my small plates as a spoon rest so I love having a dedicated spoon rest that goes with my kitchen decor, it looks classy and it works great it's a practical thing to have to keep counters clean and not contaminate my spoon or spatula while cooking. This held up great in the dishwasher, I put it in the top rack and it comes out looking brand new even though I've washed it multiple times already. Would highly recommend this product and it also makes a great housewarming gift for someone. It is large enough to fit all kinds of spatulas or even ladles.
Very good size for a spoon holder. I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the box. It works well as a spoon holder, tea bag drainer, Aeropress rest, etc. It works great for all around kitchen help and really looks nice at the same time. I'm currently using it in my house for my "coffee station" but it will eventually be used in my camper kitchen to keep the counters clean.It's a really nice option for holding a variety of items and I'm really happy I got one. You can't beat the price either.
This is a pretty spoon rest that could serve other functions as well. The lip would work well as a spout too. But the swirl pattern might not allow liquids to pour evenly. Still, it’s large enough for a wide spatula and doesn’t take up a lot of counter space. This is a really nice spoon rest. It has a glossy finish and a hand-painted look that makes it feel more special than a typical ceramic piece. It also has a good weight to it, so it doesn’t feel flimsy. The grooves give it a unique touch and it looks great on my table. I use it every day with my morning coffee and it holds up well. Overall, a high-quality item for the price and a good value. Great size as well, definitely big enough to rest cooking utensils on. Would make a nice gift for tea or coffee drinkers.
