Functional, no weird smells and works great!
I’ve been using this heated lunchbox for a while now and honestly, I don’t know how I went without it. If you’re tired of cold lunches or soggy microwave food, this is 100% worth it. The biggest win is that it plugs into both a regular wall outlet AND a car outlet. I use the wall plug at work, and the car plug is perfect for road trips or long commutes. I just plug it in about 30 minutes before I’m ready to eat, and my food comes out nicely heated—not burned, not dried out, just evenly warm like a fresh meal. It’s super easy to use. No buttons or complicated settings—just plug it in and let it do its thing. The container holds a good amount of food (enough for a full meal), and I like that it keeps everything contained so there are no spills. The lid seals well, and the handles make it easy to carry without feeling bulky.I’ve used it for leftovers, rice, pasta, chicken, soups, and even veggies, and everything heats up evenly. Way better than microwaving because the food doesn’t get rubbery or dried out. Plus, it doesn’t make any noise or smell weird while heating.Cleaning is simple too. The inner container comes out easily, and it washes up fast by hand. I also appreciate that it feels sturdy and well-made, not cheap or flimsy.Overall, this is perfect for anyone who’s on the go, travels a lot, works long hours, or just wants a hot homemade meal without relying on a microwave. Definitely one of those purchases you don’t realize you need until you have it—and then you can’t stop using it. Highly recommend! Sometimes I even just use it for my cold lunches as a regular lunch box too.

Does heat, but must be watched to be sure it doesn’t burn!
This is a review of the JIPDELEE Fast Heating 1.8L Portable Electric Lunch Box for Adults, Portable Food Warmer.I ordered this for more occasional use like picnics with the kids or day trip adventures as opposed to a daily lunchbox. The photos included are from the water test that is recommended in the instructions. Included in the box is a nice zippered thermal bag that fits both of the included plugs as well. The inner lid does seem to seal very well, but I took it off for the water test. There is only on/off when plugged in or unplugged, and no temperature or timing settings besides those. With the water test, the water did get very hot and achieved a low boil (see photos).I feel that this would work well for things like soups, but despite the instructions saying to add some water to more dry foods, I’m concerned that there is a hot spot that will end up burning the food if it’s not watched closely and stirred occasionally. For the price ($39.99 at the time of ordering), it’s not a bad option, it seems to be made well and the parts fit together well, and it definitely heats up. The thermal bag should make it pretty easy to transport. A simple timer would have been nice and the hot spot is a concern, which is something I will have to take that into consideration when planning an outing. My other issue is that in the listing, it clearly shows a partitioned inner metal liner. What came in this package is a metal inner liner that is only one big bowl, but includes a plastic container, though I’m not sure if it can be left inside while heating as it’s not mentioned in the instructions, and it won’t fit outside the lunchbox inside the thermal bag for transport.

Really happy with this
I’ve been wanting one of these for a long time, and I’m so glad I had the opportunity to get this one. I love the color and the design. The food warmer overall is really well made durable. It comes with two cords, one for indoors and one for the car, which is great as it can be used in a hotel room or on the road for a long road trip or commute. The insulated carrying case seems a little thin, but it does work well. The lid seems to seal pretty well, and I haven’t had any issues with spills or leakage. And it’s incredibly easy to use. This isn’t really for dry foods, though. I’m not sure how you would heat something like fried chicken in it. It does much better with rice, things with sauces, and soups. Basically wet (or wet-ish) foods. But the heating does seem to be even as long as it’s got some kind of liquid. The cutlery is good quality. And I like that it has a little plastic co trainer for fruits and veg, though it’s not something that you can heat up. I do wish it had a movable metal divider that could be used to keep foods separate, but it doesn’t. Just a single metal container. But I suppose that is easy to clean.Overall, I’m very happy with this.

Hot Meals Anywhere with Solid Convenience
This 1.8L portable electric lunch box is a practical companion for work, travel, or life on the road. It heats quickly and evenly, and the stainless steel container feels durable and easy to clean. The ability to plug in at the office or use 12V/24V in a car makes it genuinely flexible for commuters and drivers. Capacity is generous without being bulky, and the latch design keeps everything secure. A reliable way to enjoy real, warm meals without relying on fast food or microwave lines.

How did I live without this???
This is a real game changer! I used to carry a "hot box" lunch that hooked up to my car (I commute) and this is much better. This one is made of metal and holds heat longer, and this one also has compartments to keep my homemade foods separate and looking / tasting great. I travel about 2 hours a day, but my husband used this on a much longer road trip and it saved money, he ate healthier, and it cleans up like brand new. This will save you money, time, and in the long run you'll probably make healthier choices while dining on the go. I haven't been camping yet but can't wait to see how much easier and more delicious that will turn out. One hundred stars!!!!

Takes about 45-60min. Has a hotspot in the middle that will burn food.
Ive used this for 3 weeks already and its a decent product, but not the best ive tried. The build quality is pretty "mid", and one of the latches broke off after accidently dropping. I was able to pop the latch back on, but its evidently a flimsy boxBut the reason i gave this a -1 star is that it takes about an hour to heat some food and it has a hotspot in thr middle which causes food to get stuck and burnt. It makes cleanup difficult and scraping off burn food from the hotspot will cause the metal tray to warp because its very thin.
