This review is for the set of six Aplker PU Leather vinyl placemats selling, at the time I ordered them, for $23.99. All placemats are cut cleanly and evenly, with no flaws whatsoever. The coloring was consistent, as were the thickness and shape. The price, in my opinion, was fair.I recall when PU leather first became more common and was often viewed negatively as “fake leather.” In situations where real leather is appropriate or necessary, I understand that criticism. But for applications like placemats—where durability and resistance to heat and moisture matter—PU leather makes practical sense. The key is how well it imitates real leather.I’m happy to say that these placemats do look leather-like. They are textured and reasonably weighted, and most importantly, they are waterproof and heat-resistant. They wipe clean easily and are stylish enough for formal dinners while still durable enough for everyday use.My only minor criticism is that they are thin. They could look more substantial and elegant with some type of backing to add thickness and structure. That said, this is more of a preference than a true complaint. As constructed, they perform well, though if the price were higher, I would expect backing.

These imitation leather placemats are very functional. My biggest complaint is the color. I got these to go with my blue dishes, and while they do, the color is a lot darker in person than the pictures. I have another set of dishes in a lighter blue that do not match as well. Other than the color being off, these placemats are great.However as far as function goes- they're great.They wipe clean easy which is great with my little. It also does a good job protecting my wood table and my counters from heat. They also show a decent imitation leather grain. Theyre well made and have no odd odor on opening.
