It stays by my stove and does what it should!

I love being able to have butter that is spreadable. This keeps my butter fresh, while allowing it to be easy to spread. It does not have a tight seal, but that doesn’t matter to me. It is fully covered and that’s all I need. The size is perfect for two sticks of butter, but you need to cut the second one to make it fit. That also is not an issue for me. I’m very happy with the quality of this item and would absolutely purchase it again!

Very nice butter boat. But the lid don't fit and Amazon is going to replace it.

This is the nicest butter boat I've ever had. But the lid don't fit tight and Falls in. Amazon's already taken care of that and sending me another one so only thing I can hope for is that the replacement lid fits. But I'm not looking just for lid I'm looking for the whole thing and that the lid fits the new one that is being sent to me because this one doesn't matter but as a butter boat this is the best one I've ever had as far as function for that purpose except for the lid.

Pretty and functional

This butter dish is great! I love the color and sturdiness of the ceramic. It has a separate section in the bottom that holds fresh water to keep the butter a little bit cooler. There is a fill line inside so you can tell how much water to put in. The butter is just the right temp for easy spreading. It holds one stick of butter with enough room to get the amount you want out of the dish.

Almost what I wanted...

I love the color. I like the design. The problem I found with the butter dish is that the lid fits, but doesn't fit. It slides around. There's no seal or barrier to keep this from happening. If you bump the lid or fail to get it placed just right, it can fall in the butter. I am keeping it. Maybe they will come up with a better design...
