I never guessed I would find a perfect dish towel again. This is not your basic towel, very pretty, larger than most you see in stores, Absorbent. Most important after washing, stays new looking. I will not go back to the basic towels. They maybe a little more, but its worth every penny, as you won't be throwing these out like the towels you find.
It is early in the game to give a review because I have not had these long. I love quality linens and these seem to measure up so far. They are well made, of good quality , attractive colors, mine are purple, and light enough to be wringed out to dry without hurting my wrist. They dry quickly so no mildew problems. They come out of the dryer looking good. I am excited to find this product since dishcloths of this type are hard to find. If they hold up I will be purchasing the dish towels next.
Manufactured in Portugal, these are very high quality, thick and absorbent cloths, that will most likely remain in perfect condition for years on end. They can of course serve well as dish cloths, but their small 12" z 12" size makes them more like kitchen cloths: this is how we are very happy to use them. We also appreciate the loop that allows to hang them on a hook, or on the kitchen faucet.
These were exactly what I was looking for in a dishcloth. Not overly thick and definitely not flimsy. They wash up beautiful and I found no shrinking or shedding. I couldn’t be happier. Bought the red/green stripe as well and the dish towels to match. They are high quality as well.
This brand makes quality dish towels. This company's particular product is very small, about the size of a washcloth, which explains why they are much cheaper than than their other dish towels. They are absorbant and durable, just be aware of the very small size of these.
I love the look, the quality, size and the fact that they are color fast. I have bought several red towels that bled on the white or other items in the wash even after soaking in vinegar.
I am taking two stars off because although the quality of these towels is good, they stick out at an odd angle and overlap when hanging from a hook. I was disappointed for that reason to realize they do not dry as quickly. At a perfect size of only 12x12 inches, the the loop would be better on the CORNER so the towels hang straight down and dry faster. They came in a set of 6, but since I didn't like them, I gave 3 to a friend. If you don't care how your towels hang, you might not mind, but I do not recommend this item, or the other set I purchased in white.
