Power to process the meat which is nice as it is quite compact in size

Working quite well, I will probably stick with the course grate; I ran some chicken thighs through and it came out quite nice, but when packaging it for freezing in my vacuum sealer it was getting a bit pasty due to the fine grain/small size I had processed it too. There’s nothing wrong with that especially if I end up making chicken chili or something but I’d rather the thicker size for ‘burger’s’ and the like. At the end of it all I could tell it was getting warm; so you're not going to be able to process a whole deer or something in one sitting without taking any breaks, but this isn’t an complaint or issue in my book, it’s what I expected for a small home grinder, even my expensive juicer gets warm after too long.It has a lot of little parts (extra blade, small/medium/large grinder, different size sausage tubes, press tool, etc. I kind of expected a small bag or something to contain all the parts, but none was included.The listing description specifically states dishwasher safe (reference below) yet there is a little sheet of paper in the box that states that the food tray, meat grinder head, fixing ring and screw are not dishwasher safe. This is for your reference“Ultimate Cleaning Convenience: Dishwasher-Safe Design - We value your time. All stainless steel components, including the 3 grinding plates and 2 blades, along with the plastic accessories, are dishwasher-safe for effortless cleanup (recommended gentle cycle). This easy to clean design stands in stark contrast to many competitors' "hand-wash only" requirements. After grinding ground beef or using the sausage maker, simply disassemble and place in the dishwasher – it's that simple.“Another note that some of the parts (most noticeably the grinder/cutting plate were covered in a light film/oil either from manufacturing or as a protective coating - so everything did get a good wash before use (which you should do anyways).Has power to process the meat which is nice as it is quite compact in size compared to other grinders I have used; it seems to be pretty heavy duty, well made and besides the two issues above I am otherwise happy with it.

Good Backup Meat Grinder

I received the FIMEI Meat Grinder and it has been a great little backup to have on hand. We process all of our own meat, and our main grinders are always breaking down or needing parts replaced, so having this available just in case is really helpful.It runs fairly quietly for a meat grinder and does not have any strong motor smell while in use, which I appreciate. The grinder handles basic jobs well and is easy to assemble, use, and clean. It is compact and does not take up much storage space.I would not rely on this as a primary grinder for large batches, but for occasional use it works exactly as intended.
