I’ve only had this pressure cooker a couple of weeks and only used it twice. It’s obviously well constructed as you would expect given it comes from Germany and the price point being kind of high. But generally, you get what you pay for and so far, it’s worked flawlessly. Seems to be worth it as this point, but need a little more time to evaluate.
It cooked my lentils in 10 min. I love it. Easy to use, great size.
Very high quality, worth the money! It has a serious weight though!
I just love it, good looking and a decent price. Acctually had to return mine, since I found a much better price locally, but still love it. Be careful when you wash it, not to loose the small rubber part from inside the lid
I hate to do this because it is extremely rare for me to write a negative review. I am a long-term pressure cooker user and I simply wore out my old pot - a high-end Fagor. I was impressed when this one arrived. It is very sturdy, appears well-made, and looks beautiful. But, I have now been working with it for almost a year and, unfortunately, it has burned my food every time. I have tried everything to prevent this, changing the amount of heat, greatly slowing (even tried increasing) the time to bring it to pressure, changing the volume of liquid, positioning it differently on the burner... Nothing has worked. It even finds a way to burn soup. This simply should not happen and I can only conclude there is something wrong with the workmanship of the pot. Regrettably I have to recommend that others not purchase the pot.
I am very happy for finding Fissler. It cooks meat and beans in 15 -20 minutes. A great investment for kitchen.
