Nice pan

This is a nice fry pan that is good for a meal for 1 or 2 people. It's lightweight, although I would suggest not to use it on the highest heat, as I've had other lighter weight carbon steal pans that warped, so I'd be concerned this one could possibly warp if allowed to get too hot. It's really easy to take care of, and it's nice that I did not have to go through the initial seasoning process that you'd normally have to do with a cast iron skillet. The straight sides make it a good saute pan.

The iron skillet reinvented

Iron skillets are notoriously heavy. I really like that this is clearly an iron skillet. But it is also clearly lighter than the typical iron skillet of the same size. I also really like that Flambo figurd out a way to do away with laborious maintenance of the iron skillet. It is amazing to be able to use and achieve results associated with an iron skillet without having to deal with the weight and maintenance of one. I will never look at an iron skillet the same way again.

Nice skillet but it's too expensive

This was my first attempt at trying cast iron by myself. I had no idea what I was doing with this when I arrived. Luckily there are instructions that tell you how to season it. It seems to work good so far, but I've only used it a handful of times. I think I need to season it more. The only issue I have with this is that is not exponentially better than a Lodge cast iron skillet (my mom has had hers for decades) - which you can buy for under $20. They have a great reputation and last forever. So for me, I can't tell how the price is justified for this skillet. It's nice, but I would just get a lodge skillet for a fraction of the price(and they come seasoned).

Nice pan!

I am really impressed with this pan. I have a pretty red cast iron pan and what annoys me about that one is that the red finish gets blackened and I just can't keep it clean. This one, on the other hand, is just a nice smooth black, and it's easier to keep clean.Overall, a nice quality pan!
