Great for everyday cloth napkins!
We’re trying to cut down on waste, and wanted to switch to cloth napkins. However, everything I found when searching for napkins was very large and substantial. For everyday use we only need something small and basic. We’re in a humid place, so I wanted something thin and easy to launder and dry. Finally I realized that I was basically imagining a a small tea towel. I searched and found these. Voila! These are PERFECT. Great deal, great quality. They are soft, absorbent, durable, keep their shape and size, clean up thoroughly in the wash, and have shown no signs of wear through laundering and frequent stain treatment with Spray ‘n Wash. Thin but mighty
I really like having a stash of kitchen dish towels and was very pleased with this purchase. I had never had flour sack dish towels before. These seemed too thin at first but once washed and dried they do sort of fluff but not the same as regular dish towels that have nap texture. By the third washing and dryer drying, not air drying, they have become more absorbent and I discovered that no nap texture results in far less lint left behind on plates, glasses, pots, pans, etc. I do not have a dishwasher so these towels get lots of use and the border seams remain intact with no signs of fraying or coming loose in any way. So far stains wash out well. I do recommend these towels and would buy again for myself or for my mom or sister.
