Collapsable silicone funnel compatible with KitchenAid - great for the price
Anyone who has ever used a Kitchen Aid knows what it's like adding flour in. You either need to turn the machine completely off and tilt the head, or you have to slowly add the flour which likely ends up with flour blowing all over the place. I have looked at the KitchenAid covers for this purpose, but I haven't been able to find one for my 4.5 quart bowl size. I was happy to find this funnel which is able to connect to the attachment hole. The funnel is made out of a BPA free and food grade silicone material. Because of this I worried that it would be snug enough once placed, but when I put it on my KitchenAid, it was able to hold it tightly. I have no worries that this will come off in the middle of my mixing. I like that it can be used for both wet and dry ingredients. I also really like that it is BPA-free and food grade. I appreciate that it is easy to clean and can be placed in the dishwasher. I place mine on the top shelf. Easy to store when not in use as it's collapsable (they have included a hook with a sticker on the back).
