I'm really impressed with this FogDream 10 inch pan. It heats evenly, nothing sticks, and cleanup is effortless I even after cooking eggs or sauces. The tri ply stainless steel feels sturdy and well made, the glass lid is super handy, and the handle truly stays cool. Works perfectly on my cooktop and goes straight into the oven without worry.
I was worried this would be another pan that peels or a pan that everything sticking like super glue but this was the complete opposite. I absolutely love my FogDream non stick skillet it's shiny, durable and has heavy weight to it thats feels expensive and it cooks like a dream. The tri-ply stainless steel heats and browns everything evenly and nothing sticks when I flipped it and it gives me that perfect sear without leaving half of itself behind in the pan. The lid snaps on tight steaming and keeping all the moisture in so my food actually tastes like something. The stay-cool handle is absolutely perfect and keeps my hands safe so I'm not doing that awkward oven mitt shuffle every two seconds. I love that I can toss it in the oven to finish cooking or giving it that extra touch. Clean-up is such a breeze with a quick swipe or toss in the dishwasher without stressing about ruining the finish.
My wife wanted something smaller and lighter just for an egg or two and this is right-sized for that.One thing I'll say about Hexclad-type cookware though: Non-stick is relative to what you are doing, and to keep it's nice slick surface at its best in the long run still use PAM or whatever.It comes with a very high quality lid and handle but note: if you hate putting things together don't buy this pan :-) It is super easy to assemble though. I imagine they ship it like this to save cost.
As a true Colombian, I love fried fish, and I chose this Fogdream frying pan and I'm very happy with it. The fish doesn't stick, even with very little oil, and it cooks evenly. The handle is sturdy and doesn't get hot during use. The size is ideal for everyday cooking, it's easy to clean, and it feels durable. I've used it with different foods and it works great. For me, it was a great choice.
