My second one is on the way.
Ladies and gentlemen, gather 'round. For today, I have witnessed a miracle in kitchen technology that has singlehandedly transformed my life, my pantry, and my ability to snack without guilt. The stainless steel food dehydrator. A machine so perfect, so wonderfully efficient, that I’m considering starting a support group for people who’ve just realized they, too, need one.Let me begin with the exterior. Stainless steel. I’m not saying it’s better than every other material on Earth, but if the moon was made of stainless steel, I’d be packing my bags to colonize it. This dehydrator gleams like the promise of a perfect, crisp apple chip and honestly, I think it makes me look cooler when I use it. It’s like I’m the Gordon Ramsay of drying fruit, except with zero culinary skill. The sleek design complements any kitchen décor, and by "complement," I mean it dominates the space, subtly telling everyone that you are not just dehydrating food , you are dehydrating it with style. But here’s where things get truly mind-blowing: it works. I know, shocking, right? You'd think a machine this flawless couldn’t possibly live up to its reputation. But, oh my friends, it does. It dries food so evenly and efficiently that even the pickiest of fruits and vegetables have no choice but to submit. I’ve tried everything! Apples, bananas, mangoes, even the most stubborn blueberries and every single one of them emerged perfectly dehydrated, as though they’d just taken a little vacation to the desert. The temperature controls are intuitive, and the timer? Well, let’s just say I’m setting it up to dry things while I’m asleep, and waking up to a kitchen that smells like a farmer’s market except better, because it’s all snackable. I’ve had so much fun experimenting with this machine, I’m considering using it to dehydrate my problems. “Oh, a stressful day? No worries, I’ll just set that anxiety on ‘low heat’ for six hours.” It’s that good.If you think a dehydrator is just a gadget for kale chips and jerky, you are sorely mistaken. This is a gateway to a world where food never goes bad, where fruits and veggies are preserved in their ultimate form and let’s not forget, where snacks are so deliciously healthy, you’ll be tempted to dry EVERYTHING. Yes, even the leftover pizza (don’t judge me).In short, I cannot recommend this stainless steel food dehydrator highly enough. It’s the culinary equivalent of finding a $100 bill in your coat pocket or discovering that your favorite show has been renewed for ten more seasons. It’s life-changing, and frankly, if you’re not already buying one, I’m not sure what you’re doing with your life. Get one, thank me later, and prepare for the most delightful, crispy, dehydrated future imaginable. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have a batch of problems to dehydrate away.

The BEST OUT THERE, Safer. Quieter, Efficient, Ease of Use
I have purchased the most popular brands of hydrators through the years and this is the BEST CHOICE in terms of1. ease of use, visibility of controls2 adequate lighting, you don't have to take it apart to view how well your food is dehydrating (very important time saver)3. Fair Price for the overall quality4. Two Fans5. Not too heavy to transport6. The grid metal inserts have small enough squares that you can use smaller pieces of food without using plastic inserts7. your food is dehydrated "safer" with the stainless shelves that air out well because they have an open system rather than using the plastic ones (most popular brands offer in which the smell and chemicals can leach in your food!)8. Non annoying alarm goes off once when done.9. Easy cleanup, stick the shelves in the Micro Wave10. Very Quiet

Honest detailed review: a really good dehydrator
I love this machine. I use it to make beef jerky and it does a really great job. I have not made any other food in it so this review is only about my experience with making beef jerky.I bought a smaller dehydrator to make jerky for myself and also shared my creations with friends and family who then asked if I was going to be selling it. Well, now my small personal hobby has turned into a small business and I’ve now gone to selling a few dozen bags of jerky a week! Who knew?! So yeah, I needed to upgrade to a large capacity dehydrator and this one caught my attention not only because of size and other positive reviews, but the very reasonable price. A lot of bang for your buck. There are a couple small reasons I only gave it 4 stars: one is that the lower trays seem to dehydrate slower than the higher trays which is not a huge problem because I just rotate the trays from the bottom to the to top around half way through the dehydration process. Again not a big deal, but it is an extra step. Secondly, the mesh pattern on the trays is tighter than my other dehydrator with more surface area contact to the meat. So sometimes thinner and more irregular cuts of meat do tend to stick. Also, it depends on the recipe you use if you have any “sweet” ingredients like brown sugar or honey like in a sweet teriyaki. I just have to monitor and pull the pieces away that are sticking and they’re good to go. Can’t really say it’s “set and forget” but I don’t think anything really is - gotta keep an eye on the process. Maybe it’s different with something like fruit?Overall it’s a beast and has been a great addition to my new production needs. Orders are going up and I think I need to buy another one!Sorry for the long review but just wanted to include any important points.JUST ADDED THIS: Spray the grates with a light layer of cooking oil and it takes care of most of the sticking!
