Organic and well made
Really love the quality of these bags! Made with organic cotton, from a small business. Very durable, and I imagine will last a long time. Bought the pack of 3 about a month ago. I like to buy the baby potatoes in a 3 or 4 lb bag. So it's very nice to get them out of that plastic bag they come in. The potatoes I noticed last longer now. Also easily washable on a delicate cycle. Thank you so much for your detail in producing these cotton bags, which can be used for so many things!

They're pretty nice
Behold, the Potato Storage Bags for Pantry—a revolutionary product that does exactly what it says on the tin... or, in this case, the sack. They hold potatoes. And let me tell you, they hold those spuds with a level of care and dedication that would make a potato farmer weep with pride. These organic cotton potato sacks are like a cozy little spa retreat for your potatoes, where they can just chill out, relax, and wait for their big culinary moment. No more rolling around in the pantry like they're in some sort of produce mosh pit. These bags keep them snug, secure, and feeling fancy. They’re washable too, because, you know, even potato bags deserve a spa day. And while I never thought I’d be this excited about a sack, here we are. So, if you’ve got potatoes, and you want them to feel special, these bags are the way to go. Highly recommend, because let’s face it—those potatoes deserve the best!

Muslin potato bags
These bags are made of a nice cotton muslin and are very well made. The material breathes well so my potatoes stay dry and keep longer. I really like these bags and recommend them to anyone who grows their own potatoes or purchases potatoes.

Good for harvest
I bought these after a bumper crop of potatoes from the garden were rolling around my pantry shelves driving me crazy. These bags were the perfect solution. They are breathable but don't let a lot of light through that will cause your potatoes to sprout prematurely. They are a good size that holds a lot without being to heavy to handle easily. The organic cotton fabric makes me feel good that I'm not getting micro plastics on my organically grown spuds. The drawstring is well designed so that it holds itself closed with you tighten it, no need for knots. Just be careful not to accidentally throw one of these in the dryer like I did because it will shrink quite a bit being cotton. But that was my fault, not the bags. I think these will work well for onions too, as well as large heads of lettuce, collard greens, cabbage, etc.

Keeps Produce Fresh
These Reusable Organic Cotton Vegetable Bags replace the ones I bought from a catalog about 20+ years ago. There is nothing else that I've tried that will keep produce crisp and fresh like cotton bags.To make them more efficient, place your washed produce in a bag and run cold water over it. Let it drain until the bag is quite wet, but not dripping. Put it in the refrigerator and it will keep your veggies fresh for many, many days. I recently used a bag to store celery (something we eat infrequently). Now, more than two weeks later, it's still crisp and edible. These bags come in different sizes for various needs. For example, a larger one will hold lettuce and carrots and smaller ones will do for peppers, mushrooms, etc. There are two notes for you to consider:First, the bags seem to have been treated with a coating similar to starch or sizing. That prevents water from easily soaking into them. Wash the bags first before using them to get rid of the coating. Water then permeates them for keeping your produce fresh.Second, If your veggies are in your fridge long enough for the cotton bag to dry out, simply run it (and its contents) under the water. Allow it to stop dripping and replace it in your refrigerator. When the bag is emptied, simply wash it with your towels, dry it and it's ready for use again. While you are initially spending money on these bags, in the long run, you will save because your food will stay fresher and last much longer.I hope this helps you to decide if these bags will be useful to you.
