This food mill is well made and sturdy. I’m pleased with the quality and How easy it is to use. I’ve only used it once for the purpose that I bought it. We have a bumper crop of blackberries this year and I wanted to make some blackberry syrup without seeds. I used the smallest disc for the blackberries and it did a beautiful job getting the seeds out and pushing the juicy flesh through. The syrup turned out beautiful And so delicious. I’m looking forward to using the largest disc for mashed potatoes in the future. This is a good value for the price and I recommend this product.

Good quality steel build! Bigger than I thought it would be AND it fits right over the top of my stock pot perfectly!! I have already used this to mill 40 lbs of my homegrown tomatoes into paste and can it. It works very nicely. Honestly, I wasn't expecting much because these days, nothing is "as advertised"! But when it came, I was absolutely blown away by the quality and build! One of my better purchases by far! Love it!

Best for soft foods, weak handle

This is mostly for softer foods, like stewed vegetables and boiled potatoes. I tried to shred an apple with this and I was unsuccessful. It seems like the volume of the mill is for smaller tasks.The unit is very light and MOST of it feels high quality. The handle is a weakness though, as the rivets are tight but the metal of the handle is cheap. I think I could rip the handle off if I really tried - the rivets and mill would be fine.3/5 stars
