Easy to clean
This works as expected. I am using this for my sourdough measurements and I tend to spill some water or a bit of flour and this is super easy to wipe off.

This works as expected. I am using this for my sourdough measurements and I tend to spill some water or a bit of flour and this is super easy to wipe off.
I use my scales every day as I love to bake and anytime possible I always weigh instead of measuring by volume. I needed to replace one of my scales as it didn't have an off/on button and was a pain to trigger.. I was also flying through batteries as it was triggering in the cabinet when not in use. Was so happy to see this had an off/on button so I thought I'd give it a try. Some of the really great features about it include that it will weigh up to 22lbs, yet has a small footprint. Another great feature is one of its measurements is ml, with an additional ml measurement for milk, something you don't often find on most scales. It, of course, has a tare function, which if you don't know what that is.. you can set your bowl on the scale and hit tare and the scale goes back to zero, meaning you aren't then measuring the weight of the bowl, only the ingredients in the bowl. The scale measures in grams, kilograms, ounces, pounds, milliliters and a special milliliter measurement for milk. It runs on 2 AAA batteries, which are included. It has a backlit display and an auto off feature. From what I measured that happens at just over 3 minutes of non-use. If you try to go over the 22 pounds it will give you an overload prompt. There is also a low battery alert. The feet on the back are nonskid and do a very good job of keeping the scale in place.I have found it to measure within 1 gram of my other two scales, seems quite accurate for an inexpensive scale. However, it's not nearly as responsive as other scales I've used. Especially when you're trying to do very small adjustments. For instance, if you put 137gms of flour in but you only need 135, it won't always instantly correct and you have to tap the scale to get it to recognize it while you're removing those tiny amounts. It does then recognize it and corrects, but I would appreciate better responsiveness. All in all not a bad scale at the current price point of $11.99 that I will probably reach for often. With it's auto on/off button alone, I feel I will be getting much better battery life and not having to swap batteries every two weeks is not only a big plus, but a money saver as well. Would I purchase it again? At this price point, yes, I would. Now that I know I have to tap the scale but it will correct, I feel that its other features override this minor inconvenience. And honestly, if I could rate at 4.5 stars, I would.
It was time to replace my old kitchen scale, so I ordered this one. You get the scale, and two AAA batteries. One of the biggest bonuses with this scale is the on/off button. My old scale had a time out of about 30 seconds, but no other way to turn it off. This scale will turn off if you long press the off button. This will be a game changer for battery life! Measurements are in g, lb, oz, ml, kg, and milk ml (I didn't even know there was such a thing, nor have I ever seen a kitchen scale with this measurement). Accuracy appears to be on point, though it sometimes takes some coaxing for the scale to update the weight when adding small amounts. It's sleek and shiny, and easy to clean if you happen to get anything on it. I like that the surface is all one smooth area, so no nooks and crannies for things to get lodged. That makes cleaning even easier. Using it is just as easy as you'd expect. Turn it on, select your measurement, and add your ingredients. If you're using a vessel to hold your ingredients, you can put it on the scale, press the Z/T button (tare) and it will zero out the weight so that when you add your ingredients, you don't have to guess how much to subtract for the weight of the vessel. You can easily switch between measurements if need be. I use the scale for weighing my food, since I'm very conscious about my caloric intake, and having an accurate scale is a must. I like the large LED display, it's bright and easy to read. I’m not sure when I’d have to weigh ingredients over 22lbs but with this scale, I can. This scale is solid, but very economical.
I ordered the BeneChef Ultra Thin 22 lb digital kitchen scale because I needed something that could handle bigger batches; like weighing out 10+ lbs of ingredients for meal prep or holiday baking without taking up much counter space. This one fits the bill perfectly.Things I appreciate about this scale:• Super slim and lightweight design; it’s truly ultra-thin, slides easily into a drawer or stands upright when not in use. Doesn’t clutter my kitchen counter or add clutter to my drawers.• 22 lb (10 kg) capacity with 1g/0.05 oz precision; accurate enough for baking (measured flour, sugar, etc., consistently), and the high max weight means I can weigh a whole chicken or large pot of soup ingredients right on the platform. I can even use it to weigh parcels for shipping.• Stainless steel platform is easy to clean, just wipe it down after messy jobs like dough or raw meat.• Clear LCD display with blue backlight, numbers are big and readable even in low light. Switches between g, oz, lb, ml (for liquids), etc., with a simple button.• Tare function works flawlessly for subtracting bowl weights, and it auto-shuts off to save battery (uses standard batteries, included).• No frills, but reliable — no weird drifting or lag like some cheaper scales I’ve tried.Minor nitpicks:• The buttons are touch-sensitive and responsive, but if your hands are wet/floury, sometimes you need a firmer press.• Not the fanciest build (it has a lot of plastic parts), but for everyday home use, it’s held up great over a couple months of daily weighing.Overall, this is one of the best bang for your buck kitchen scales I’ve owned. If you’re into portion control, keto tracking, baking, or just need a sturdy scale that doesn’t hog space, grab this. Highly recommended, especially at this price point.
