Works well, solid construction, easy to clean

I needed a slicer but my kitchen was built as an afterthought so space is non-existent. After searching for foldable slicers I found this mixer attachment. It’s really nice. I’ve never used one before so I can’t give an accurate comparison to regular slicers. The only concern I have is the weight. You put it together and it’s a heavy load to be hanging off the front of your mixer. I remedied my concerns with a tall jar and some foam padding, to have underneath, giving it stability. I’m sure it’s ok but I just want everything to last. The design is very appealing - wood looks nice. It’s simple - easy to clean - slices thin - I’m happy with it and so glad I sifted through pages of slicers to find this gem.
