Blades are extremely sharp, but handles are harder to clean

The first thing I tested was the sharpness of the blades and they were extremely sharp, so I definitely see no issues with these blades cutting most things. The handle is not wood, but is PP, and has a wood appearance. From my understanding PP is generally dishwasher safe, so that should be fine, however, I can see a line along the handle suggested two halves were joined together on the steel portion of the handle, so I'm not sure how well these two halves are combined together to avoid splitting in the future. The biggest concern, however, is that there's a concern that washing the handles may be more difficult due to the grooves and such. My family noted that concern as well.

Highly stylized food cutting knife set, solid handles

This knife set (6) is functional and highly stylized with embossed design patterns at the knife top with a lion head medallion attaching the blade to the the handle. This design conveys a fierce image that this product is tough and strong enough to get the job done. The six individual knives appeal to a user who can handle challenging food preparation like meat cutting, boning etc. The blades are very sharp (plastic covers on the tips) with a curved handle that makes for a good, solid grip. The lion medallion creates a safe distance between the handle and the blade which allows the user to position their thumb on the lion head to hold the knife steady while cutting or chopping. This set covers a chefs many food preparation requirements and uses.

Terrible knives. Rust when put anywhere near water. Not wooden handles. Sharp but that is all that is going for it.
