Despite being 35 years old, I still like my day-to-day silverware, but I didn't want to use it for special occasions. I wanted something prettier without being super fussy. I looked for a long time and kept coming back to the Fortessa Bistro. It's classic style is just elevated enough to feel special but would also be completely fine for day to day. The finish is gorgeous. They have a weightiness that's satisfying and comfortable. They feel expensive. I'm so glad I finally pulled the trigger!

Fortessa Cutlery is the BEST I have ever purchased
The Bistro Set I have purchased a total of 4 sets for my daughter-in-law who wanted to set a table with everything matching. She LOVES this Bistro set -- It's heavy, sturdy... shines up perfectly each and every time she sets the table.I own 4 sets myself and I have to say that after we spotted these at the Biltmore Castle 5 years ago, there is no going back to regular cutlery. These ALWAYS shine up well -- even after going thru the dishwasher a thousand times. I usually do not review my purchases however, this Fortessa set of four place setting is no joke. I believe that the utensil strength and durability of the bistro 5 piece 18/10 highly polished silverware is among the finest quality. I searched for a long time for the perfect set that would not break the bank. This is the ultimate deal, a great value. I'm not sure yet of the product as far as the corrosion some have mentioned and will update this test review in the near future.Signed:Very pleased with Fortessa bistro flatware. These are not what I expected.
For the money I spent, I’m not excited. These are not bad pieces, but they are inconsistent with quality. From a performance standpoint, they are totally fine. From a value for money, wildly disappointing. I bought these months ago, because I didn’t want to miss out on the pattern. This, has been a mistake. I bought these because a restaurant I enjoy had them and I needed a new set. These are not even close to what was at the restaurant (even though the chef d’cuisine told me the brand and the style). Half of my set doesn’t have the brand stamping. None of them are not fully polished on all sides. For the amount of money I spent, per place setting, I would expect to have a fully polished set. On all sides. If I had it to do over again, I would have invested my money in my old Reed and Barton set. It is too late to return these, as, again, I bought these so I didn’t lose out on a matched set. I will bide my time and make a better decision in the future. Again, they are an okay set of service ware… but they aren’t worth more than $20.00 for a set of 4.

Beautiful everyday silverware
