Grab for it all the time, now own two

When I first reviewed this I gave it just three stars and complained of the coil slipping. Now I own two and I LOVE this tool. It makes me sigh if I reach for one and they're BOTH in the dishwasher dirty. :( Yes, the coil slips around and I still feel that's a design flaw. However, this is just such a wonderful tool for sauces and scrambling eggs and so many things. It just makes life easier and works better than a fork because you can really get the bottom of the pan or bowl better with this whisk. I saw that someone had marked my review as helpful for this item when it still had three stars. I felt bad that someone might have passed up this gem because of my hasty review. So, since Amazon does not have a search feature for your reviews (grrrrr... -- if anybody knows of one, please tell me) I just spent the last fifteen minutes of my time as an act of pennace searching through years of reviews to find this review and write it the proper lofy one it deserves. And so now I have set this right.Nigella set me onto this. I know the Barefoot Contessa says she doesn't buy gadgety things that only do one or two tasks and blah blah preachy blah. I love Ina, she rocks, but I bet she secretly has one of these hidden in her kitchen drawer, tucked waaaay back, out of sight and she secretly uses it all the time and LOVES it!!!! It's just really nice to have and I'm sure Ina would agree. Buy one for your mom and sister and bestie and Ina and anybody else you think might enjoy one.

These rust easily

I use tiny whisks a lot to mix baby bottles and baby cereal and fruit purees. I have a few that I bought over a decade ago but was looking to have a few more so that I always have one on hand between running the dishwasher every few days. These are like pictured and work fine, they so being to rust immediately after the first washing. I have only ever used the largest one our times and only handwash it and it is rusting exactly the same as the smaller ones that have been used more heavily and have been washed in the dishwasher. This is a case where you get what you pay for but they are exactly what you expect when you order them.

This will become an indispensable kitchen tool!

This is perfect! I have medium sized hands and the handle is comfortable. The head is the right size to work in a saucepan or making batter. If you want this to mix batters that have chunks of things like whole fresh blueberries they won't get stuck but the tiny blueberry pieces that come in boxes of pancake mix might but just tap it on the edge of the bowl and anything pops out. I use this to make sauces, puddings, batters and for beating eggs much faster and more thoroughly than using a fork. Washes nicely in dishwasher. I find myself using it so much I'm ordering a second one.
