Love this light weight cheese slicer. We use blocks of cheese now for our sandwiches. I love the marble look to it and it’s easy to store in a cabinet or drawer. I just leave mine on the counter. They also send you an extra slice cable for when the one that is on it runs down.

Nice heavy piece of marble. However, the hole in the marble that the cutting arm pivots in was drilled way too big, so the arm slopped around way too much. I think a lot of the problems other reviewers had were caused by this. I didn’t want to send it back, so if yours is the same & you want to fix it, 1st take off the cutting wire. Follow the instructions that came with the board. Then cut a piece of foam mounting tape just long enough so that it will wrap around the arm once without overlapping. See photo. I had 1” wide tape so I used 2 pieces to cover a 2” section of the arm. Do not remove the cover tape. Squeeze it together, & slowly twist & force it into the hole. Put the cutting wire back on & line it up with the grove. I don’t know how long this bubble gum fix will last, but for now, it’s much better. If it falls apart quickly or lasts a long time, I’ll edit this review.Edit-It's working great, now my favorite cheese slicer. Also, it slices all kinds of cheeses just fine-hard, blocks, soft. Just go slow.
Love it! So far this cheese slicer is amazing and so easy to use. The wire is sharp and has cut through anything from a sharp aged cheddar to a softer goat cheese. The marble slab is thick and durable, but also super easy to clean. Just wash it in the sink but avoid the cutting wire getting wet. Overall it works very well and is a good purchase if you enjoy cheese or making charcuterie boards.
I purchased this product in January 2025 and it is a terrible product. The wires wear out very quickly, stretching beyond their ability to slice cheese. The wires have to be replaced after only a few uses, and the replacement wires, from the same company, are extremely difficult to install. The replacement wires that came with the product are gone, and I would NOT recommend anyone purchasing this product. I'm probably going to just throw it away.
I got this for my mother for Christmas...I got one for Christmas several years ago and use it all the time would recommend it I will probably buy one for my daughter next year or maybe for her birthday in August thank you
