Great Tart Pan for the Price
Before purchasing this pan I read most of the reviews for the available tart pans with removable bottoms. There were several complaints about tin-over-steel items rusting. I decided that, for the price, it was completely worth the risk and gave it a shot. When I received the pan I washed it in warm, soapy water to remove any machine oil that might be left. I immediately dried it and then left it on end in the dish drainer so it conuld finish air drying any crevices I may have missed. No rust. The pan works great. The tarts come out great. There are no sharp edges or rough spots to cut myself. I'm very pleased with this product and would highly recommend it to anyone.

Great tart pan!
I replaced my tart pan with this and I couldn't be happier. Crust removes perfectly, and that's exactly what we want.

Great product, not easy clean.
Nothing stuck and cooked well.I would wash, dry and put away asap to keep it nice. I washed by hand and put to dry but the next day it was rusty. Easy to reclean and dry and put away after, but you will need to take care of them.

MY SEVERAL CARAMEL PECAN TARTS CAME OUT PERFECT!
Having never used a Fox Run product before, I was hesitant after reading two reviews that said the product could rust. However, as those reviews were a few years old, I took the chance that Fox Run had improved their product and ordered the 11-inch tart pan with a removable bottom from Amazon that I needed to test the many caramel pecan tart recipes I'd researched on-line (trying to find one for our Christmas dessert!). The pan arrived and I was pleased with its quality. It survived many washings - by hand, mind you - with no signs of rust or bent edges. I never put my good baking items in the dishwasher. It's just something I never do. All of my tarts came out beautifully, including the one I'm going to use for Christmas dessert!

good so far
bought straight from A and have no issues (no rusting/discoloration/etc) with them as of yet.i ordered these to make keto biscuits that wouldn’t end up on flat sandwich side (the batter tends to spread after they heat up sometimes), these did the trick, my biscuits now come out looking like actual biscuits.. They also do not stick to these at all and i noticed their bottoms doesn’t brown as fast as when they are straight on a cookie sheet so my biscuits aren’t crunchy on bottoms.. putting these straight on rack or in cookie sheet doesn’t seem to affect how they come out enough to matter (just a slightly less golden biscuit bottom when put on cookie sheet).

Your tin pan, rusted
I hand washed this tart pan as soon as I received it, along with other dishes and put them on a rack to dry with a fan. This item rusted from hand washing! I never got a chance to use it because it rusted. Save your money for a better quality product. Oh, and if durability is what you’re looking for, this item is also paper thin. So even without the rust, I wouldn’t recommend this tart pan due to overall cheap, poor quality.
