I ordered this knife for a young boy who wanted to learn to cook. My large chef's knives were to much to handle for his small hands. He loves it, I love it. It's sharp and has a great feel. It's well made and well worth it.
Very Very Good Bread knife! Looks great and feels heavy in the hand as in great quality! I think it is a great value for the money. but as far as blade protection….it comes in a box No sheath! And no one keeps putting back in the box every time you would use it! So I had to buy a sheath. But I felt that…that was my own little quirk! And I bought it for every other day bread making. I would Not put this in the dishwasher! Hand washing is so easy for this. Let dry or wipe dry and that takes maybe 5 minutes! Great purchase!
I have been looking for a nice small blade kitchen knife and this one is perfect. Nice and sharp and easy to use. Good quality!
Don't buy it if you don't have a wooden block ready to store it. The knife is so sharp, dangerous to store it in a drawer, you may get cut just tring to pick up a knike form a drawer. An old wooden knife blocks slots may be too narrow for this knife, it is very wide, which is nice to slice meat, etc. Luckily I had a block with a wide slot. Otherwise the kife is wonderful. Lightweight, wide, sharp, elegant!
It's been a long time since I bought it, it cuts like new
I needed something between a paring knife and chef’s knife for taking the peel off oranges right down to the fruit (really - you get more flavor from them). This is THE knife for that and becoming my go-to knife for practically everything. It’s razor sharp out of the box, and its mid size makes for precision control and efficiency. It’s got a wonderful heft and balance in the hand, and the grip is perfect for my hand. I wear a glove size seven; medium in women’s gardening gloves.
Very sharp and easy to handle.
