Not worth the effort

This is a stainless steel cleaver. It comes nicely protected in a form fitted box. HOWEVER, the blade is also sealed with a sheet of plastic GLUED to the blade. The plastic peels off and the glue remains. It took me at least a half hour using multiple cleaners, including metal polish, to return the blade to its stainless appearance. Was it worth it? Probably not. It wasn't necessary. They could have packed it simply in the box or in a plastic wrap without the glue. I came very close to returning it. I give it 2 stars because it comes sharp. It is a good size in my hand and after all the work it is a good looking cleaver.
