Fit perfectly in my freezer. A great way to organize and not have to dig just to find something. Easy to lift out and very sturdy.
Sturdy and work great! Love how much more convenient and organized this makes the chest freezer
I ordered these to see if they might help the freezer dilemma we currently have. We have two large (20+ft3) chest freezers and one commercial 2 door (50ft3) upright freezer. Before you ask, No we aren't preppers. We use one for beef - we butcher a cow every year. One for pork & lamb - typically get 1-2 of each every year to 18 months and the upright is filled with vegetables & fruits from the garden on one side and wild critters, poultry (chickens, ducks, turkeys & geese from our farm) & overflow from the other freezers on the other side. We bought the commercial upright because we kept temporarily losing stuff in the chest freezers. Although these are smaller than we will need, they allowed us to prove the concept one way or another - more later. We've tried several other items like 11 plastic milk crates per chest freezer, didn't work, to much wasted space. Cardboard boxes, Not durable enough, fabric grocery bags, not stable enough, stiff acrylic sheets caulked into the freezers from front to back for separation of the different cuts, Nice thought, still a pita to find the steak or roast you really wanted, although it was really great for hamburger, sausages etc that were kept in the compressor step-up area. We are hopeful we can get something like these to help us out. If these work out, we will probably get larger, adjustable bins like these, but lets not get ahead of our ski's just yet. These bins are well built and appear to be durable, time will tell. They are right around 14 5/8 X 7 3/4 x just under 7" high. Again, I knew before ordering, that these were too small for our freezers. I ordered them, only to prove or disprove a concept. So far, its looking pretty good. I used these in the pig freezer and was able to put chops, steaks & loins in one basket and picnics in the other and still have some space left over (this space is left because its just about time to butcher a couple more hogs).I believe that with larger bins that will go from front to back and will stack two or three high, this just might be a viable solution. As mentioned earlier, these do look and feel durable, they are very easy to assemble and overall just really nice bins. When these first arrived I did my typical initial inspection and didn't find any major issues or defects that would render these unusable. At this price point (~$15), I believe these are a great value. A quick search shows similar items costing between ~$23-35. However, these may have been last years model, I found an almost exact version from the same seller running right around $23-24 (still a very good value, though). Would I order these again? For now, I wouldn't. But, Only because I need larger bins - as I've mentioned several times in this review. I believe if you have a smaller chest freezer, these just might be perfect for you.Hope this helps.
Fit perfectly in my freezer. I might order another set
The MSERCUOR freezer organizer bins were a very good value at the time I ordered them at under $10 per bin. They come folded down so they do not take up much room when not in use for easy storage. To assemble it is very easy just unfold and lock the sides in place. The handles are collapsible when no in use. The metal is very durable and has a coating to keep them from rusting from the freezer condensation. The handles are coated so your hands do not get stuck on from the frozen metal. The open dimensions run at 15 length x 11 width x 7 inches high. The bins are stackable.I tried them out in two different freezers I have, a French door bottom freezer drawer and an upright freezer. They work very well in both. In the bottom freezer I could only use one because they are just an inch too big to use side by side for dividing the space up for better organization. The Upright Freezer was great of organizing meats and veggies. My freezer has adjustable shelves and it was so easy to put all of my frozen veggies in one so I can just bring the whole bin out to find what I want for that dinner. I did the same with my meats placing them up and down like files of meat so I can just leaf through them to find the cut I want.I noticed they now sell them in a three pack, I wish I had gotten that one. These could be used for many more uses than just the freezer. Very good quality and versatile in its use.
This product is a set of folding, stackable metal wire baskets. While they do fold, they also seem really sturdy and durable. I've shattered the corners of plastic storage bins before, but have no worries about these. So excellent durability. They are also much more stiff and less floppy than the fabric covered cardboard or thin wood storage cubes in our cubicle shelves.Convenience factor is way up there too. These feel more see through than the nearly opaque white plastic storage bins I use elsewhere, for example. They have more structure than the slide lock freezer bags filling my freezer that often have to be shifted around to find anything too. For these, if you think there's an item buried in the bottom, you can lift up the whole basket and check. Adding some value for money, there's even nifty handles that rotate up to help. The one issue I had was I nipped my finger somehow when unfolding. There's a metal C that hugs on to the wires quite firmly, both in the folded and unfolded form. When you are pulling it lets go quite suddenly and your hands can go flying into some other piece of metal. Anyway I switched to putting some gloves on to unfold the rest and was fine after. I never intend to fold them up again, so not expecting it to be an issue.
The bins are alright. Each bin clips together nicely and I like the handles on the sides. They don't stack as securely as it would appear though. Additionally, if they are stacked, but one that is lower is not full, it easily collapses on itself.
