This French fry cutter is Fantastic!!! The people complaining about struggling to get an Idaho brown potato through it SIMPLY INSTALLED THE CUTTER IN BACKWARDS!!!!! No struggle at all and as long as your potatoe isn’t larger than the square cutter, it’s a breeze. My entire bag of Costco potatoes went through with ease and I only needed to cut a couple to make them a little smaller to fit. For the price, it’s a top choice!
This was hilarious as a birthday gift for my 12-year-old son. He loves fries and wants them from fast food places all the time. As a silly gift, I bought this and now he is eating fries at home. We already have a frier and we have saved a lot of money by doing this. It's a win-win situation for us.It is a bit hard to use of you don't have enough strength but not impossible. There are 2 blade sizes so you can pick the thickness, and it breaks down and washes up easily. I love this thing!
If you’re a fan of home fries but you’re like me and can never cut the potatoes right, then this device is for you! Lol. Seriously, it made making fries so much easier and it comes with two different size blades so you can have the shoe string version if you want. I did have to work it a little when I first received it so it would glide smoothly but after that I haven’t had anymore issues. It’s super easy to clean and takes very little time to air dry. You definitely have to have a surface where the suction cups can stick to though so that’s for sure one thing to keep in mind. This is a great addition to my kitchen gadgets, now excuse me while I go make some more fries! 😂
This worked well. I’d give it 4-1/2 stars. Required more effort than expected to get the cuts started. Once it starts cutting it moves through the blade quickly. Stays in place. Easy to clean. I’m not sure if I’ll need to keep the slide rails greased? Good for the price.

Like product is sturdy and easy to use. Works well on Idaho potatoes.Dislike doesn’t work on sweet potatoesDislike doesn’t have a parts list to order replacement parts if needed in the future.Dislike plastic part that pushes against the potato was broken in the package. Used J.B. Weld to repair. So far it seems to be a successful repair.
