Beautiful large volume bowls
These four beautiful 26 ounce Ourplome Bowls with handles are designed for enjoying soup, chili, or other food. One bowl is only half full with a full can of soup so each bowl holds a large amount of food. The bowls can be used in the microwave and the handles did not burn when grasping. The vendor reports the bowls are freezer, oven, and dishwasher safe. However, we noticed one of the bowls was scratched on the top when the bowls were stacked. Use caution.

I absolutely love these French onion soup bowls! The blue glaze is gorgeous in person and looks even better on the table than in the photos. Hollow handle holds water (shake it a little and it does dry); No issue with Dishwasher, Microwave, or Oven at 325F (not sure I would freeze them). Holds enough food for a teenager. Not just for Onion soup (french or otherwise).Product Features/Details (How it's Made, What's In It)Reactive Glazed, Ceramic french onion soup bowl; 26 oz capacity: Microwavable, Dishwasher safe, Oven safe, and freezer safe (?); Scratch ResistantThe Good StuffThese are just some beautiful blue bowls that we will use for everything from meat pies, potato soup, chili, chicken-n-dumplings… well a long list. Keeps food smoking hot while keeping the handle cool enough to carry. Plus it holds enough for a teenager’s bottomless pit (well at least a second filling does). Love that old school cast iron speckled blue look that reminds me of home. They call it Reactive Glazing (see below). Overall we like, a lot.The WTF StuffWhat is Reactive Glaze? Variegated/Mottled surfaces in ceramics that are a product of more melt fluidity and presence of opacifiers, crystallizers and phase changers. Again, WTF.Simply put the glazing technique produces original and diversified surfaces, so no two items look alike. Basically making it art.The Bad StuffNot a huge fan of the weep holes because they hold a little water. The producer explains they now have two holes because the one hole design caused staining.
