I bought this for camping. It kept the coffee hot. It's a nice size and is a quality product. The handle stays cool and works great. It's easy to clean and is solid stainless steel. There is now plastic or glass to crack and break. I would recommend this French press.
I don't miss the glass carafe at all! The stainless holds the heat and is much sturdier to handle. Easy to clean and very good looking.
Works great. Fiilter fits snuggly while brewing to keep water very hot. No more worry about cracking another class pot.
I love this french press. I was previously using a glass one. I don't have a dishwasher and well water is used for dish washing. Therefore, the glass always seemed to be a bit cloudy. I had to fill it with vinegar to get it clear. The Stainless is much easier to clean and the coffee oil/residue doesn't seem to bind as much (this could be my imagination). At any rate, it is easy to use, extremely attractive and cleans up quickly and thoroughly. I would definitely purchase this again if anything happens to this one, as long as it lasts me at least a few years. But, I expect it will last much longer than that. It's very sturdy and the extra screens will be handy in the future.
Good quality press. Seems to hold the temp a little better than my previous that is very similar. The only complaint is the top should have an indicator where the open portion of the top is so it’s a smoother pour, more open pour.
We've used it daily for about 3 months now. Looks nice. 100% metal construction. Can brew a max of ~900ml = 30floz = just under 4cups of coffee if you really fill it up with barely enough space to put the plunger on. Keeps brew noticeably HOT for ~2 hours ☕👍It's a great choice if you're trying to cut plastic out of your life. For me, it was between this and glass (also double-wall) and I knew we'd eventually shatter a glass one. This one will last generations.
Sturdy, easy to clean, and makes good camp coffee. Pretty good at keeping coffee warm for awhile.
