This is the perfect one person press. Coffee stays remarkably hot for a very long time, great build quality, and it's aesthetically beautiful. My press arrived with a small but noticeable defect (the wooden plunger was tilted). I reached out to Concetto's customer service; Neil responded quickly and resolved the issue. The quality of Concetto's product support equals the quality of the product.
I wish it would make a large 2 or 3 cups. It's perfect in all validity if you drink too much coffee. I look forward to my morning 1 and 1/2 cups of coffee. It's quality, and I savor every drop. Light but even weighted. It feels nice to handle, and looks nice.
It has a nice look, and handle affixed at top and bottom and it is perfect for two cups of hot french press coffee. Mmmmmmm
Got this yesterday. Nice looks and comfortable to hold. It's smaller than I expected (see photo with wine bottle for comparison). I was misled to think it was made in Glasgow, which would explain the high price. I was disappointed to see it is actually made in China, according to the box (see photo) . I was also disappointed that the filters don't have a rivet in the middle, like my old Bodum filter (see photo). I'm considering returning the item.
It is both attractive and just the right amount for the morning cup of coffee
I have tried a number of French presses in my past and never really cared for them due to the fact they don't keep the coffee hot. This one does much better. I prime it first with hot water, them brew my coffee. I won't say the coffee is hot, but will say it is closer to hot to be able to drink it without having to microwave the coffee. I have had no issues with cleaning. This is just the right size for a couple of cups.
The package arrived in a broken box. The product itself looks beautiful, I was looking for a replacement due to breaking my glass french press (that I had for 4 years). I figured this would be good. The size is smaller than I anticipated, but what I did not like was the screeching sound (metal - to metal) when pressing down. It looked to me that there was particles when i did this. Unfortunately, this did not work great for me and I was disappointed. I thought based on the coast, it would be worth it. Not sure why there is a wood top handled an the rest is aluminum. Overall, i do not recommend buying this.
