Saved My Arms and My Sanity — A Jerky-Making Lifesaver!
As a proud dog mom who makes fresh beef jerky weekly for my spoiled fur babies, this little gadget has been a total game-changer. Slicing meat used to feel like arm day at the gym—except with zero rewards and way more mess. But with this JUANWAN manual meat slicer? Boom. Done. Sliced. Perfect every time. The blades are razor sharp (don't even think about touching them bare-handed), and the adjustable thickness is awesome for getting just the right bite-sized jerky for my pups. Plus, it’s sturdy, easy to use, and takes the muscle work out of meal prep. For under $25? I’d give it six stars if I could.

MUST BUY! This has been so helpful and makes prepping dinner super fast and easy! So far I’ve used it for chicken and pork and it was like cutting butter with a hot knife. 10/10 recommend!

Limited use?
This product does work well; but it has limited use for me.1. It will only slice thawed raw meats.2. The 2mm is very hard to work with. (But 4mm is adequate for my use)3. The capacity of the slicing; holding chamber is very small. I would size it to one boneless chicken thigh or breast.4. I will use to thinly slice meats for stir fry or dishes requiring small pieces of meat. I had hoped to twist the sliced meats for additional slice to create strips of meat for skewing. At 4mm doing this technique would present minced or ground meats. For me I will use it for dishes requiring small bites. Many reviews were excited about jerky cuts. Yes, this is a great thickness for jerky but the cuts will be small because of the chamber's limited size.

Surprised how well this works!
I'm gonna be honest I didn't expect this to be as easy as it was to use. Even cleaning it was much easier then I expected. The cleaning brushes were helpful though I still use a bottle cleaning brush as well for cleaning. I think you do need to be careful when lining the blades up inside the little canister because if you don't line them up properly it can cause an issue. I use this mostly for slicing steak so I can do french dips or other steak sandwhiches with ease. I was also helpful on fajita or stir fry nights. I found slicing your meat in smaller sections to be the most beneficial because if you over stuff it you'll run into needing to "saw" motion more. I also found the suction base to hold pretty well. My husband was thinking this would be a waste of money and after he was watching me fly through food prep the one day he agreed that it was money well spent.I am a kitchen gadget gal. I like anything that can make my life a bit easier and can help me save some time. The only downfall I really found for me personally is that it wont "cube" the meat. Slicing in strips it works great though. So, there are some meals I wont use this tool for but when I can or I'm prepping bulk meat it saves a lot of time. I think as long as it's taken care of and someone's not overly aggressive with it that it will hold up for a long while. I do have a few concerns with the plastic rubbing when the metal portion goes to slice the meat, but again this is where it's good to properly line things up and not get careless when rushing with prep. If your careful it should last a long time.

Save urself the trouble
Doesn't work as advertised. Cutting fish and others like fruit is okay. When it comes to meat it's very hard and you need to use pressure. After a few use it's very hard to. It meat like beef or pork. Very hard to clean too as it's easy to cut hand

If you plan on preparing jerkey, fajitas, Korean BBQ...
or any other dish requiring perfectly sliced thinly cut meat you need to get one of these things. I'm still amazed at how quick & easy it is to use. Clean up is also very simple. BUT BE CAREFUL, those blades are sharp & you can cut yourself badly, (unless you're into that kind of thing, some people are.) Made of plastic but is sturdy enough for it's designed purpose. The only possible drawback is the pieces of meat have to be fairly small, about the size of your fist, you can't stuff a whole roast into it without doing some trimming. Otherwise, I highly recommend it.
