Good magnetic holder with different mount option
I've look everywhere for a magnetic knife holder that long enough and does not have the dumb 3m tape only. I like to mount these on a sturdy surface and not have knives falling to the ground and hurt someone.These meet those criteria.It is long so you can hold multiple knives that are atleast 1.7-2 inches wide. I like that it has hooks for other object. The most important thing is this knife holder does not cost too much for one with screw mount support in addition to other mount options making the installation process better. It weight quiet a bit due to the magnet. Finally, the magnet itself is strong enough to hold the knives in place and easier enough to take it off without damaging the surface that it's attached to.

Was not what I expected.
The magnetic bar would stick to side of fridge but when I tried to put knives on it after 3rd knife it started sliding down the side of fridge. So, I was quite disappointed. But I tried sticking it to another metal surface (exterior metal door). It held fine there and did not slide down when I attached knives. I attached with the adhesive strip, and it worked fine. FYI make sure you have lined up when you get close to metal surface as the magnet pulls it out of your fingers when you get close and there isn't any way to move it.

Has worked well on 2 different fridges
Recently switched from an older refrigerator with textured sides to a new one with smooth sides, and this magnet has been stable on both. The knives it’s been holding: paring, filet, chef, santoku (2), plus a pair of kitchen scissors. The magnet has always adhered well to the fridges and the knives/scissors have adhered well to the magnet. It’s very convenient to have everything easily accessible, and it’s nice to save space on the countertop and in drawers. I’ll buy another if I get more knives.
