Great pizza oven

I am impatiently awaiting the release of the air fryer tray to make this pizza oven more versatile. Until then I am still really over the moon with this pizza oven. I’ve always struggled to make pizza at home with a regular oven because they just don’t get hot enough, even with a pizza stone. This oven is amazing! It does take a while to heat up and it’s a bit noisy but worth it for the quality of pizza you can make, and how quickly you can make them. I’d recommend getting some semolina to dust the peel with and know that getting the hang of getting pizza on and off the peel will take some time, but it’s a fun process if you take it as one. The high heat helps get an amazing bubble to crust just like a real pizza place, in just minutes. Once you get it down it’s easy and fun and also cool to watch the pizza cook from the top window. Easy to clean just until it’s all cooled down! I wish the air fryer function was ready to go but at release and review time that is currently an unavailable accessory.

can air fry but fryer basket and tray not included. greaat high temp for artisan crust

This is about the smallest pizza specific oven i've ever seen. while compact it still takes up a considerable amount of counter space. if space is a premium, you'll probably not be leaving this out. while it does have a front loader, the controls and display is on top. so it will have to be use on the counter top. probably the most saafe that way. the 700deg temp capability will allow you to do that thin chewy and crispy crust. I do have a pyrometer to tell you if its actually abel to hit that temperature. its a pretty hgh claim. It looks really sleek and is easy to wipe down on the surface. the stone pan is removeable and cleanable.Wwhen the fan spins on low its a little clunky and not balance. its better when it goes to high speed for the air fryer mode. i hope it balances itself out over a few uses. make me wonder about the rest of the quality. the far infrared light looks cool on the top element. the appliance is pretty heavy so there some quality guts inside.Theres alot of mention about air frying but it doesn't include the frying basket and tray. the lower element is pretty exposed so im worried about using it as an air fryer. it does come with a pizza peeler that has a handle that is removable. the quick release if not used with care will easily pop off. you'll want to practice using it a few times im no sure why it needs to be removable. maybe for dishwasher? the internal cookign space is about 12.5 in square. the stone is 12in even.it takes about 10 min to get to the 700. maybe only about 5 to get to 400 for your frozen pizzas. you'll want to let it run the preheat. so far my frozen pizzas take more than the suggest time from the manufacturer but only half the time from the pizza makers. but the preheat time takes a while.dont get cheese on the stone. it'll burn and youll want to clean it only when its cool enough.if youre really into pizza night then this is great. we were hoping to have this double as our air fryer as well and it does do that (after you get a fryer basket and tray thata fits) but the form factor makes it cumbersome for use. we use our air fryer daily and the the form factor makes it not funtion well for us. great for pizza but it becomes another speacialty appliance taking up more space.biggest dissapoontment realy was the lack of inclusion of the fryer basket

Love this

I wasn't sure if I'd like this or not, but I absolutely love it. It does not come with a basket; the information states it will be available in 2026 sometime, but I got a couple unbranded from the local big box store at a reasonable price and they work perfectly. My husband tried pizza once and wasn't crazy how it came out, but I can't say he used the right temps/controls at this point. I used it for hors d'oeuvres during the holidays and they came out perfectly; I did set the air fryer timing as per the instructions on the food box, but the food cooked much more quickly in this oven. I cooked hamburgers in it as well; I set it to autocook on the air fryer as 'steak' and they were done about 2 minutes sooner than the timer; I used that 2 minutes to cook hot dogs afterward. The hamburgers and hot dogs came out better or as good as on a grill and no shrinkage. I do use parchment liners, and it keeps the trays and oven clean. It heats up relatively quickly and I like that you can see the food cooking through the top. The oven fits nicely on my countertop; you do have to allow room for air circulation and in the area where I have the oven is perfect to allow for that. There is a broiler and bake function as well and I love using it for smaller items rather than heating up my regular oven. Overall, I'm super happy with this.

A solid pizza oven that is missing some key extras

This Frigidaire electric indoor pizza oven has a mix of pros and cons, and I have a love-hate relationship with it. First off, it is incredibly heavy. I was shocked at the weight of the box. It took two people to bring it inside, and most of that weight comes from the stone plate. It is unbelievably heavy, as it should be, but still worth mentioning. The oven itself is huge. It takes up a lot of counter space and is much larger than I expected. I originally planned to keep it on my counter full-time, but that is not going to happen. It takes up too much room, and when it is running, it gives off a lot of heat around the exterior. That makes me hesitant to leave it out in a permanent spot.Performance-wise, it does a good job. I made a large store-bought frozen pizza, and it cooked evenly and came out just fine. As far as pizza ovens go, it works well. However, for the price point, I expected more. It advertises air-frying capabilities, but it did not come with any air-fryer accessories at all. No basket, no tray, nothing. That was disappointing and, honestly, strange for something that markets itself as a pizza oven and an air fryer. I have not tested the air-fryer functions yet since I do not have the required accessories.Overall, I think it is a pretty good pizza oven, just not a perfect one. I am neutral on it. If you want a dedicated indoor pizza oven and do not mind the size or weight, this is a solid option. But the lack of accessories and the amount of space it takes up might make it a tougher decision for some people.
