Cleaner Oil = Better-Tasting Food

I used this fryer filter bag with the deep fryer linked here. You get three reusable bags, a sturdy frame, and even a food thermometer, so you can use everything right out of the box with no extra purchases. It fits my fryer perfectly and handles large batches fine. It makes keeping the oil clean easier which makes food tastes better. The ultra-fine mesh really does catch everything including crumbs, small particles, and even the tiny bits that usually slip through other filters. After each fry, I just shake the bag so the debris falls right into the strainer, and it’s ready for the next round. No messy scraping, no soggy paper filters—just simple and effective.Value-wise, this is completely worth it. The quality and reusability alone make this a great buy. The nickel-plated frame feels solid and durable even at high temperatures and the stainless-steel mesh holds its shape well. I’ve used it multiple times already. It is built for long-term use.Functionally, it’s very easy to use and clean. A quick rinse with hot water removes oil residue, and the open mesh dries fast. I would absolutely recommend this product especially if you fry a lot.

Strains oil left over bits

This strainer filters out the larger bits, though in some frying situations, the cloudiness can still fall through due to the fine particles. The strainer is cleared by tapping and washes with soapy water. The thermometer seems accurate, with clear readings. Recommended for usability.

Really robust, large strainer

This is a top notch, big strainer, with a solid metal support frame to hold it. Comes with three super fine mesh bags that snap around the frame in multiple places. It also came with a digital thermometer for safety, since you don't want to be pouring super hot oil, obviously. The AI image they have on Amazon makes the strainer set look smaller than it actually is--it's really quite large and designed to be used over, like, a 5 gallon bucket or something. Matter of fact, the whole thing is designed to sit over a bucket with little prongs on the far end to keep it from sliding off easily. Anyway, once you get the bag snapped on, the frame and bag are very stable and do a great job straining. Then you can take off the bag and give it a good wash.

You deserve a fish fry. A fish fry deserves clean oil.

Where I live, people take their fish fry seriously. Especially Fridays, but our little mom & pop serves 'em every day. And when the oil gets dirty & burnt, the fish does too. Not to mention it's hard to find help that will thoroughly clean the oil on a regular basis. It's a minor investment for better food & oil longevity. Clean oil = better tasting food.I hope the restaurants I frequent read this! (you know who are). You should know: It's slippery.

Keeps Fry Oil Fresh

The metal frame sits steady over a stock pot and the fine mesh bag catches every crumb. I filtered a full kettle after a catfish night and the oil came out clear and light again. The bag rinses clean, then a soak in hot soapy water and it is ready for the next round. The extra bags mean I can swap fast while one dries. The thermometer reads quick and takes the guesswork out of heating and cooling.Helpful tipFilter while the oil is warm, not hot. I aim for about one hundred sixty to one hundred seventy degrees, pour slowly, then label the jug with the date so I know when to retire it. Use gloves and set the frame over a pot that is tall and stable.
