ABSOLUTE FINISHING TOUCHES with these beautifully crafted critters!!!! I also bought the, "ARE YOU POOPING",turtle for my bathroom to hang up as the GUEST TOWEL RING, it sits right next to the commode..Heheeeeee, you have to see it if you tinkle or pooootie poooooot~~~

This towel is pretty big for a dish towel but that's okay. 100% cotton and very absorbent, they way a dish towel should be. So many dish towels made nowadays are synthetic and small. Polyester does not really absorb water and can leave streaks and scratches on your glasses and dishes. Microfiber also has a low absorption rate - and while it may give towels a luxurious looking effect, it can also cause streaks and scratches on your dishware. Cotton is the best water absorber and the best quality for a towel, period. Whether it's a dish towel, bath towel, hand towel, or washcloth, cotton is definitely the way to go. The waffle weave aids in the absorption of water. I like the sea animal motif printed on the towel. I would have preferred the motif to be woven in as part of the towel itself, rather than printed upon the surface. Time will tell how long the sea motif hangs around before disintegrating off the towel. I will give a future update. A bit pricy but worth it for a 100% cotton dish towel which is becoming harder to find these days.

It is a basic design with serger finished edges, and the graphic only on one side. It is the waffle weave fabric, and the listing says it is cotton cloth, but there is no tag on the towel to confirm the type of fabric.It laundered very well, coming out of the dryer relatively unwrinkled. The fabric is not super absorbent, but it is better than microfiber, and I'm hoping that it improves with repeated use. The dimensions are just right for a kitchen towel.
