Perfect for weekly library trips. Very large zippered pocket, and bright, cheerful design
I was at the library the other day and got such a large stack of books that I was longing for a good tote to carry them. I saw this and knew instantly it was the exact item I needed. I tend to have a routine in which I go to the library every single week and this specific bag was targeting teachers or people who like to read and or want to encourage others to do so. I expected that I'd be easily able to fit the library books into it and that's exactly what happened.The top of this bag is completely open. There is no zipper or fastening of any kind. To me this is an advantage as I wanted to be able to easily slip books in and out of it. However, I was pleasantly surprised to see that it does have a nicely sized zippered pocket which could hold a cell phone and set of keys easily.The cloth is a tightly woven cotton. Very easy to keep clean and very easy to wash. It is a nice decent, heavy fabric. The handles appear to be securely sewn onto the bag. Overall, I believe it will hold the amount of books I require without any issue. Totes for library books have to be pretty sturdy actually because of the sharp corners of the books. I think this will be able to hold up to that and has worked well so far.The other thing that I really liked was the design. It is the same on both sides and covers nearly the entire thing. I love rainbows, bright colors, and I don't mind advertising that I love to read. So this definitely was a plus for me! In my opinion, it looks better in person than the photos even suggest.So how much does it hold? I made a video attached trying to demonstrate this in terms of books as I assume that's who this is targeted towards. Basically it holds at least a couple weeks worth of reading depending on how busy I am. Three popular hardcover books, two craft books, and six magazines easily fit inside without any corners being bent.Overall it exceeded my expectations with how much it can hold, how great it looks in person, how large the zippered pocket is (and easy to access even when it's full of books). And I really enjoyed the sturdy stitching and nice material. It's everything I wanted!
