    Works really well to protect countertops!

    I bought this heat resistant mat to use underneath a food warming mat, and I’m so happy that I did! I tested this mat for 6 hours to see what the temperature results would be. It definitely did its job! My food warming mat was set to 122°F, and my digital thermometer read the temperature of the mat at 124°F. The heat resistant mat underneath had a temperature of 103°F, and my countertop underneath that had a reading of 78°F. That’s a big difference between the heat resistant mat and countertop. It’s definitely protecting the countertop! Highly recommend if you are concerned about food warming mats cracking your countertops, this heat resistant mat works!

    The product worked well to reduce the amount of heat to which the counter top was exposed. The heating mat was set for 212 degrees. The counter top underneath the heat resistant mat was only ran to the touch. I would definitely recommend this product.
