These Cups Run on the Small Side But Do Not Break

I have a mug tree in my kitchen. My "well-meaning" young cat likes to bat the mugs off the tree. Hence, I have broken mugs. I bought these mugs mainly because they do not break....and they don't. My cat has already tried to bat off two. The mugs are on the small side, but the ivory color looks good with my wooden mug tree which is a bit small itself. And, they seem to frustrate my cat so she is actually leaving them alone.

Unbreakable, but not long lasting

Got these a year or two ago and have been completely happy with them so far, until I looked at them today. Each one of these cups is starting to crack, as if they're shrinking and drying out, if that's even possible. One cup had a long crack on the side of the cup, while the rest had the cracks in the bottom. I do microwave my tea in these and rinse with cold water so may the temperature change caused these to crack eventually? But for the price I would still recommend them because of how much use I've got out of them.
