I love it!
This is a beautiful mug! I love it! I’ve recently decided to ditch teabags, primarily due to concerns of microplastics in the bags, but also because I wanted to brew my own teas with parsley, ginger and other natural ingredients. The stainless steel infuser is perfect for this purpose with very small holes that have so far prevented all particles from passing thru into the mug and muddying up my tea. I suppose if the tea I was using had powdery particles, some could conceivably pass thru, but I’ve had no problems with this. The infuser is quite large which permits lots of room for the tea to infuse into the water, plus it is extremely easy to clean. The mug itself is also large with an 18 ounce capacity and is advertised as dishwasher and microwave safe. At first I was afraid it was too large, but after using I find it is perfect. I can brew 2 cups at a time without having to go back and refill. The mug handle is wide and flat, making the mug feel very sturdy, comfortable and secure in my grip. I’ve had mugs in the past where the handle made it difficult to hold when full of steaming liquid, but that is definitely not a problem here. I also love the lid which not only keeps my tea hot during the steeping process, but serves as a holder for the infuser after brewing.If I had one concern, it would be that I think the price is a bit high for one tea mug, but considering the beauty and practicality of the GBHOME mug, I’m happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend to others.One last note… If I’ve used any incorrect terminology in my review, please know I’m new to brewing loose tea, but am excited to explore all the different possibilities with my beautiful new mug!
