Definitely larger than my 9in pan but that didn't matter at all bc it doesn't need to fit tightly to work. My cheesecake came out flawless, and I have a leaky springform. I used to keep a bain on a separate rack but that would still make my cheesecake crack. This gives me peace of mind that no water is getting through to my pan, unlike tin foil, which is impossible to make completely seamless unless I used a whole roll

Works pretty well
Have to edit my last review since it was inaccurate, it did NOT melt to the bottom of the pan but formed an insane vacuum in the water bath that was strong enough to bend the aluminum cake pan in was sitting in. It keep the water out and doesn't impart any rubbery flavor to the cheesecake, just me sure not to use it with a springform pan with an outer lip or you might have the same vacuum issue although it can be resolved by just putting it back in the oven.

Love these
I love this I make cheesecakes all the time and I always put them in a water bath to cook them but sometimes it gets through the foil this has made that easier, it has a really good seal, it fits perfectly and I love it, it’s a little tight to put on so I recommend doing it before putting anything in your springform pan, it can be a chore but it gets a really good seal and keeps the water out, also works well if you want to make a cake in it, doesn’t brown or burn the cake love it
