On time. Safely packaged to prevent the quality ceramic from breakage. Also a nice solid wood top with a tight silicone seal, removable for washing. Could probably hold an entire pound of butter in the 4-stick configuration. So it holds my opened cream cheese instead!One minor drawback- the cool add-on of a spreader built in the lid....is dampened only slightly because it isn't held in place, so even too quick in removing the lid will send the spreader flying where it should be seated just well enough....to stay in there with lid upside down.The aqua ceramic is thick and sturdy. I haven't dropped it and that would probably come out badly, but the spreader and the lid have made trips to the tile below several times already with no damage.

When I first received this butter dish, I was worried that I would not be able to fit it in the fridge butter compartment. It fit perfectly! Very sturdy ceramic; has a little weight to it but not too much. The lid is thick wood and its butter knife feels very strong (the knife end connects firmly to the handle). Beauty and function straight from the fridge.There’s just one tiny thing. The rubber ring around the inside of the lid feels as if it can come off very easily. I think if this tub is carefully hand-washed and handled, there should be no problem with the ring.
